The medieval village of Cordovado - Italy Walking Tour

Let's walk around the historic village of Cordovado, a small jewel rich in history and valuable monuments.
The medieval village is walled and paved in cobblestones. Still today we can admire the ancient walls, the picturesque medieval houses and the two gate towers.
Since 2004 Cordovado is officially one of the "Borghi più Belli d’Italia" (the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy") and since 1986, every year, it has held a historical re-enactment and the "Palio dei Rioni", in which the districts compete for a coveted trophy.
