Thank you for taking the time to explain from a to z. It helps me a lot to measure all the points. I have exactly the same issue with a broken MacBook 😊

Thanks Piernov and great to hear that you have some better audio this time. Makes it much easier to understand. Great job as usual. What board software are you using that has the photo of the board please ? That is awesome

It's a beta feature in OBV, you can download it here: github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardView/releases/tag/8.95.0
Some pictures are available here (some of them with the config): logi.wiki/index.php/MacBook_Pro_Pictures logi.wiki/index.php/MacBook_Air_Pictures
It's very hard to take straight shots without blur and distortion so please share if you have good quality pictures.

@@piernov Perhaps best to take pix under the microscope and stitch them, what you think? I was thinking of doing this for some of the boards I have.

hello I know you might be with other stuff, but same situation but my main Vol instead of 8,4V is 9.05V going down to 4v in a loop..... I suspect U7000..(wich i think is responsable for creating the 8,4v needed). should I replace? smc should be good because have green then amber led, and in the fuse f7040 i see a loop from 9,05v down to 4,5v in a 6 seconds loop NO FAN... thanks a lot

Would love to invite you to our group, on Facebook (macbook logic board repair), we would feel honored :), there are great techs there, Paul, Tim, Jessa, Collin, Chris and many others... I was a mod in there a couple of years ago, but I really don't like Facebook (both for ethical concerns and the user interface) and the atmosphere of this group didn't suit me well. I'm already at badcaps.net, Electronics Repair School Discord and Rossmanngroup Discord too.

@@piernov Hey man, I totally understand, social media is too much drama sometimes, but I can promise you a safe an clean environment, i am running the group right now because Tim is working hard on his shop, yesterday Pedro shared this video on the group and you should see the comments, we all love you there :)... Actually if you see the group rules you will see that we care about morals and ethics... If you can, give us a shot... Have a great day man! And sorry for being stubborn 😂
