Mate if you dont mind me ask, could you tell which bmw you used. I got the same issue and mine has done 23k and bmw dont wana deal with it. I actually don’t know what to do as i know its a fault on bmws part.

Do you think cleaning the EGR will also make the error go away? or does the EGV need to get replaced only?
In North America there’s an extended warranty program or reimbursement. 10 years unlimited miles.

I used synter sheffield. I believe there is a recall on a part related to this also

How much did they quote to fix the EGR ?
I didn't get an exact quote but its about £100 an hour for 2-3 hours plus parts
The EGR valve runs you about $160-$220 at pep boys 👍🏻 take 3 minutes to remove
