So very very brave. I save up around $1,.500 dollars to help with rehab and a lot of things. O still think it was bad to let services go. You're a lucky young lady !
About 20 years ago my friend was free diving near Sea Ranch in California. He felt a bump. Swam to his tube and saw a Great White. His diving buddy saw it also. It was the last time he went in the ocean.
In regards to the recent Port Beach attack here in Perth I have read about other attacks in Western Australia (and there are many) The scary thing is a lot of them are never recovered and had witnesses that have said the shark has carried the body away never to be seen again and the GW sharks here are huge. So to sum up. Sharks in WA are attacking to eat, not to test bite.

You know, very few of us would take a walk in the African Savanah knowing there are lions, hyenas, black mamba, etc etc. Yet, most of us will happily jump in the ocean to swim, dive, etc. It's kind of crazy when you think of it because we are far more out of our element in the water.
Yes it makes me laugh how white people are soo scared to walk down a dark alley or go in to black neighbourhoods, but would gladly go swimming in shark infested waters, go climbing maintains and cliffs go jumping out of planes with only a cloth on their backs and the one I like lets go swimming with sharks , and they say blacks people are stupid, makes me laugh every time I see and hear stories like this. @@clintonbeckway4171 well to be fair, the average person has about a 1 in 19,000 chance of death by homicide, and about a 1 in 3,700,000 chance of death by shark attack. So the chances of being killed intentionally by another person is drastically more than by shark. The fear is rational.

The latest shark attack just happened the other day off of port beach Australia......which could be an interesting one as its the first fatality that report's say involved two species of shark at the same time. Apparently the first attack was a great white followed up by a tiger shark directly afterwards. No remains were recovered, just the swimming goggles were found. Great channel.......it's one of those shows that is so interesting and addictive to watch. Awesome 👍

Haha, had that same feeling in same waters and sure they were there some of the time I surfed ventura harbor one day after news reported a great white eating a seal (found out cpl days later, lol.)..waves were good usually quite a few people but this day empty, overcast and solid 4ft.....surfed for an hr and as I was paddling back out I got the creepiest feeling eve...sky and water turned different color in my perspective and hair on my head stood on end (while soaking wet)....I just booked it to shore........sadly (or gratefully depending) I looked back out to ocean and I never saw a thing....shark was not on my mind until that moment paddling back out and no idea why it came on so strong so quick......never had feeling so strong as that one on that day......was 20 plus yrs ago Cpl days later I found out bout shark eating a seal in that very spot.... Positive in all years I been surfing they were close or under me at some point....
@@kirkdunn1379 Yep, those waters north of San Pedro are colder. Camping at Leo Carillo, all those kelp beds, you know they're lurking. Zoom in on satellite imagery of San Miguel Island's shores, the northern most of the Channel Islands. Seals, sea lions, elephant seals, all over those beaches. Whites been feasting in that region long, long before we came.
Spearfishing around the Farallons in occluded water with 1m of visibility should be in the dictionary under 'Bad Idea'. I'd rather be diffusing landmines in Afghanistan
ANYTHING in the water, around the Faralons is nuts. White Sharks all around them, UNLESS Orcas have been seen. There's been 2 observed Orca attacks on White Sharks there. One was between a 20ft White Shark, and an alike sized female Orca, that nailed the Shark at about 15 to 20mph in the side, bit it, rolled it inverted (Tonic Imobiliity), the she and another fed on its huge liver. The Shark Boat said ALL the White Sharks just disappeared for some time. I'm sure they can probably sense their own blood or flesh in the water, and realize Orcas are around.

too many people get bitten after ignoring warnings...there is a video of a man (tourist) who insisted on swimming somewhere even though a GWS was swimming in the bay and it took off his leg...he was an idiot!...GWS do come close to shore depending on the topography-Cape Cod is a classic example. Seals and therefore sharks are often 25 feet from shore. And people are often unaware of them!
I think that was the tourist in South Africa who ignored the warnings and swam out on his morning swim and a 9ft GW just went straight to him and bit off both legs at the knees. Two men went out and brought him in with the shark there the whole time back. He survived. Too much of listening to "humans just aren't on the menu for them" and not enough listening to "there's a great white in the bay, don't swim".

I never swim in the ocean . Jaws forever set fear in me with the ocean. Plus I lived in Florida and Southern California for a lil bit and actually seen things in the ocean that was enough for me to stay out of those creatures territory
FYI Hal 1 week ago you did a story mentioning Ken Crew ( Halloween special ) who was attacked on Cottesloe beach on the 6th Nov 2000. This year it happened again on the same day a swimmer was attacked on port beach approx 2miles south of Cottesloe.
I’ll never forget that day when Ken Crew was taken. My dad and I were driving along the coast early that morning and he said “good day for a shark attack” because it was overcast. Then we heard not long after then Ken had been taken. So sad. Port beach is such a beautiful beach, but definitely wary after Paul was taken recently. I guess they’re everywhere, but there’s something eerie about being there after an attack.
Marvin Estridge may be dead now but we still remember his idiocy. Same for the guy who uttered the most idiotic thing you can say at sea, ""Gotta check out these entrails."" Then he goes back after being attacked and hyperventilates to death.
You mention the guy that possibly hyperventilated and drowned, this is what I cannot understand about people and the ocean. Trying to convince me splashing around, diving or spear fishing in an environment that is hostile to humans that is also filled with large meat eating critters is so beyond insane I cannot begin to describe my feelings on it. I know damn well I would hyperventilate, the fear would consume me- being down in the murky depths where a shark can pop out feet away at any moment. No thanks. Lotsa ugly ways to die here on terra firma too but at least I wont go out as a shark snack.
Nobody is trying to convince you to go in the ocean. For sure it's a dangerous place, if you're too scared then go home. I certainly wouldn't convince you to enter the ocean, I don't like to babysit. There is a trick to tell if there are sharks around, taste the water, if it's salty there are sharks. Like driving on a freeway, be aware of the dangers, calculate risks and pay attention to your surroundings, most likely you'll get where you wanted to go without an issue. It's a waste of time to dwell on things you can't control and let that prevent you from living.
As a shark diver, I can assure you great whites want absolutely nothing to do with you. If you truly want to see one up close in open ocean you need to be in a cage. Because they come in for the chum. I have seen many sharks. But GW are always shadows. They keep their distance. Bull sharks and tigers are opportunistic. Never turn your back on them. If you are going to dive with sharks you must understand their behaviors. How many scuba divers have been killed by sharks? Especially a GW. You are right. If you fear the majestic creatures of the ocean, you are not prepared to face them. You enter their home and there are risks, responsibilities, and respect that must be given. This guy demonizes the fish by talking about the negative. There are more amazing non-threatening encounters than attacks. Also consider these attacks. 98.9% are on the surface, where people are splashing, wearing jewelry or items that look like shiny fish scales. The creatures are mostly surface predators. Diving has very little to no attacks. No fear. This man is stating his opinions. Which half are bs.
@@dawnellebryant2244 Exactly, I completely agree with you. I surf so I am up on the surface sitting just outside the breakers, in one of the most potentially dangerous spots to be for great whites. I'm way more worried about not getting caught inside when a big set rolls through than I am about sharks. Unfortunately I've never had the chance to dive with them, would certainly love to though. You should check out the channel TheMalibuartist really cool drone shots of great whites peacefully cruising around swimmers and surfers. For the most part they steer clear and give humans a wide berth.
These are always interesting dude. Love hearing the stories. Living in Central London there's no danger of me succumbing to this kind of fate (unless a plane I'm or a ship I'm on in goes down). I'll sit on a beach (in the shade) - but no way will I ever put my toes in the water. Actually I went chest deep when I was in the Bahamas several years ago and thought - uh oh - shark territory. I won't set a toe in the ocean since!
The Farallon islands see some of the largest GW's on the planet, Sharktober being the peak season for their visits from what I understand. Spear fishing? 4 ft visibility? I've had enough trouble with barracuda when spear fishing in 40 ft plus visibility. Those cold water fish are definitely tasty but no thanks.
Farallons part of that Red Triangle in all my attack books... South Africa, Australia and the Red Triangle have to be the worst for them attacks with New Zealand also having their fair share. I read in one book of a guy lifted from the water and shaken and they said he wasnt bleeding by the time rescuers got over. That is basically shook as his blood out with that move....
Some charter fisherman hooked up to a 20' great white 20 miles off Destin Beach Florida June 4th this year. That's where I go to the beach and it scares the shit out of me.

That guy that died after hyperventilating is sad, as are they all. You can really get a feel for how traumatizing these attacks have to be. He probably saw a shark or shadow or got bumped by a buddy and thought it was a shark what ever it was it must have reminded him of the attack.

5:33 Monastery Beach is a beautiful stretch of coastline. But I've seen lone surfers go out there early in the morning and to me that is just asking for trouble!

I once spent time in India many years ago not far from a place called Goa, on the beach a bunch of local fishermen was cutting up a Shark am not sure what type may be a Tiger Shark, any ways I asked how far out did they go to catch this incredible creature, to my surprise he told me in the shallow's, less than 3 feet of water, we decided to stick to the Hotel pool, scared me because nobody's mentioned that.
I mean actually it’s common knowledge that a lot of shark attacks happen in less than 3 feet of water. But I suppose unless you hear it you won’t know but once you hear it you never forget!
I think the guy who hyperventilated at a late date was probably a territorial bite to the shark. The shark had a kill down there, hence the entrails, and when dumbass went to take a look, the shark gave him a bite like they do to each other. They bite each other around the head in territorial disputes.
You are so refreshing! I love the top predictors. Eagles, hawks, coyotes etc. I know how important they are. They insure that our wild nature remains balanced and healthy. But I don’t believe that sharks are more afraid of us than we are of them!! Lol!

These stories are freaking terrifying!!!! I feel so bad for the victims yet Cant get enough of these stories! There’s one place you won’t find me and thats in one of Hal’s “you’re an idiot” segments!!! Lol I spent my life swimming in the ocean, jumping off boats as a kid in the Bahamas swimming with wild dolphins. I never knew how easy it is to get attacked by a shark. After hearing a hundred of these stories I am now terrified of the ocean. I will continue to scuba dive with a blade on my ankle but without proper defence I will stay in the boat from now on. Sharks and how freaked out i have always been by them. The attack stories have always fascinated me. But the show is basically the result of a discussion with a few people tgat think sharks dont like to eat us and spit us out. I have read of sharks throwing up the remains… is very rare. So when we are hundreds of attacks in, i will have what i am looking for. Stats to go with the attacks i know of

Grew up in SoCal. Parents rented a beach house every summer from 1965 to 1969. I surfed & body surfed & boogie boarded every day along with my siblings and hundreds of thousands of people. No one got bit that I can remember (Newport & Huntington Beaches). We did get stung by jellyfish tho! I think "over" fishing, fishing & chumming for vids & tourism has changed sharks behaviors. I kno sharks now equate boats to "food." Cooks Bay Tahiti never had sharks till tourist boats started chumming. Humans are smart & dumb at the same time. Sharks are smart.

Every time I hear a great white in 3 feet of water baffles me. Get a yard stick and stand it beside u. Are you kidding me!?!?. The people standing there and trying to help has to think they're watching a horror flick. I'd like to think I'd try to help. The only thing I'd do is jump on it's back and pound it's gills. I'm so tired of the narrative that sharks simply aren't interested in eating humans, & every attack is just a case of mistaken identity. They aren't monsters, but they are predators, & if they're hungry & you're there, then you're on the menu.

There was a young lady in Reunion sitting in 2ft deep water right on the beach front when a shark attacked & killed her. They think the shark was a bull shark or a tiger shark.

Ampullae of Lorenzini…they react to electrical stimulation…the sharks nose is pock marked with them, galvanized steel tanks were known for causing “erratic behavior”, AKA aggressive behavior. Zinc plates, used for preventing electrolysis on boats, are also known for sustaining attacks of sharks. Interesting stuff. I grew up down in St.Thomas usvi. When I was a teenager I worked for a marine science lab for a while as a flunky and I remember they purposed a study of just such phenomena. But due to sanity , it was cancelled. If youve ever seen the competitive nature of a bunch of feeding reef sharks…you’d know what I mean.
I’ve been spear fishing at thousand steps in Santa Barbara in 40 to 60 feet of water and felt that dreaded feeling. Not many things are more frightening than being 150yards off the beach and there is not a fish around, you can’t get in to shore fast enough. Didn’t stop me from going back though
Who in their right mind would swim around near the Farallons? It’s not like we don’t all know it’s a great white hunting ground after all the shark documentaries filmed there.
There's a great early 80s documentary, I believe it's called " The Real Jaws" where All Giddings tells the Leroy French story. It also talks about Lewis Boren. It's on TH-cam. I recommend it!
I've found this show to be very educational. Call me previously ignorant (as I was), but I honestly didn't know something as big as a great white would dare to venture into territory as shallow as three foot of water.

No. This is about the sharks, not the victims as sad as the stories are. Have to give the most recent months for searches, Autopsies and witness statements to be out so we get the whole story. Have a ton to get to so by the time we do all the attacks on record before 2020 those will be a few years old.
Hey don't forget the British swimmer in Australia JUST LAST WEEK who's entire family saw him being attacked and after two days of searching all the authorities have found is his swimming goggles ...

If it was all about young sharks then why does alot of people also get hit on surf boards by 18 19 or 20 footers as well. Not just 10 11 footers attacking people. Alot of times I do believe it is mistaken identity because of low visibility. Sharks only see a silhouette just like we do when we look up in the water. Not just young sharks mixing up what we are.

You know, very few of us would take a walk in the African Savanah knowing there are lions, hyenas, black mamba, etc etc. Yet, most of us will happily jump in the ocean to swim, dive, etc. It's kind of crazy when you think of it because we are far more out of our element in the water.
Yes it makes me laugh how white people are soo scared to walk down a dark alley or go in to black neighbourhoods, but would gladly go swimming in shark infested waters, go climbing maintains and cliffs go jumping out of planes with only a cloth on their backs and the one I like lets go swimming with sharks , and they say blacks people are stupid, makes me laugh every time I see and hear stories like this. I think Darwin was trying to tell people something.

The latest shark attack just happened the other day off of port beach Australia......which could be an interesting one as its the first fatality that report's say involved two species of shark at the same time. Apparently the first attack was a great white followed up by a tiger shark directly afterwards. No remains were recovered, just the swimming goggles were found.

This show just brings 'nightmare reality' to the forefront. Body surfing and boogie boarding up down So Cal's coast half of my life. I can remember a few times when I got creeped out waiting for a set. Murky waters, look'in around, spine tingle, seems too quiet, sumpn's down there.

I surfed ventura harbor one day after news reported a great white eating a seal (found out cpl days later, lol.)..waves were good usually quite a few people but this day empty, overcast and solid 4ft.....surfed for an hr and as I was paddling back out I got the creepiest feeling eve...sky and water turned different color in my perspective and hair on my head stood on end (while soaking wet)....I just booked it to shore........sadly (or gratefully depending) I looked back out to ocean and I never saw a thing....shark was not on my mind until that moment paddling back out and no idea why it came on so strong so quick......never had feeling so strong as that one on that day......was 20 plus yrs ago
Cpl days later I found out bout shark eating a seal in that very spot....
Positive in all years I been surfing they were close or under me at some point....

Zoom in on satellite imagery of San Miguel Island's shores, the northern most of the Channel Islands. Seals, sea lions, elephant seals, all over those beaches. Whites been feasting in that region long, long before we came.

ANYTHING in the water, around the Faralons is nuts. White Sharks all around them, UNLESS Orcas have been seen. There's been 2 observed Orca attacks on White Sharks there. One was between a 20ft White Shark, and an alike sized female Orca, that nailed the Shark at about 15 to 20mph in the side, bit it, rolled it inverted (Tonic Imobiliity), the she and another fed on its huge liver. The Shark Boat said ALL the White Sharks just disappeared for some time. I'm sure they can probably sense their own blood or flesh in the water, and realize Orcas are around.

too many people get bitten after ignoring warnings...there is a video of a man (tourist) who insisted on swimming somewhere even though a GWS was swimming in the bay and it took off his leg...he was an idiot!...GWS do come close to shore depending on the topography-Cape Cod is a classic example. Seals and therefore sharks are often 25 feet from shore. And people are often unaware of them!
I think that was the tourist in South Africa who ignored the warnings and swam out on his morning swim and a 9ft GW just went straight to him and bit off both legs at the knees. Two men went out and brought him in with the shark there the whole time back. He survived.
Too much of listening to "humans just aren't on the menu for them" and not enough listening to "there's a great white in the bay, don't swim".

I never swim in the ocean . Jaws forever set fear in me with the ocean. Plus I lived in Florida and Southern California for a lil bit and actually seen things in the ocean that was enough for me to stay out of those creatures territory
FYI Hal 1 week ago you did a story mentioning Ken Crew ( Halloween special ) who was attacked on Cottesloe beach on the 6th Nov 2000.
This year it happened again on the same day a swimmer was attacked on port beach approx 2miles south of Cottesloe.
I’ll never forget that day when Ken Crew was taken. My dad and I were driving along the coast early that morning and he said “good day for a shark attack” because it was overcast. Then we heard not long after then Ken had been taken. So sad.
Port beach is such a beautiful beach, but definitely wary after Paul was taken recently. I guess they’re everywhere, but there’s something eerie about being there after an attack.

You mention the guy that possibly hyperventilated and drowned, this is what I cannot understand about people and the ocean. Trying to convince me splashing around, diving or spear fishing in an environment that is hostile to humans that is also filled with large meat eating critters is so beyond insane I cannot begin to describe my feelings on it.
I know damn well I would hyperventilate, the fear would consume me- being down in the murky depths where a shark can pop out feet away at any moment. No thanks. Lotsa ugly ways to die here on terra firma too but at least I wont go out as a shark snack.

Nobody is trying to convince you to go in the ocean. For sure it's a dangerous place, if you're too scared then go home. I certainly wouldn't convince you to enter the ocean, I don't like to babysit. There is a trick to tell if there are sharks around, taste the water, if it's salty there are sharks. Like driving on a freeway, be aware of the dangers, calculate risks and pay attention to your surroundings, most likely you'll get where you wanted to go without an issue. It's a waste of time to dwell on things you can't control and let that prevent you from living.
As a shark diver, I can assure you great whites want absolutely nothing to do with you. If you truly want to see one up close in open ocean you need to be in a cage. Because they come in for the chum. I have seen many sharks. But GW are always shadows. They keep their distance. Bull sharks and tigers are opportunistic. Never turn your back on them. If you are going to dive with sharks you must understand their behaviors. How many scuba divers have been killed by sharks? Especially a GW. You are right. If you fear the majestic creatures of the ocean, you are not prepared to face them. You enter their home and there are risks, responsibilities, and respect that must be given. This guy demonizes the fish by talking about the negative. There are more amazing non-threatening encounters than attacks. Also consider these attacks. 98.9% are on the surface, where people are splashing, wearing jewelry or items that look like shiny fish scales. The creatures are mostly surface predators. Diving has very little to no attacks. No fear. This man is stating his opinions. Which half are bs.
@@dawnellebryant2244 Exactly, I completely agree with you. I surf so I am up on the surface sitting just outside the breakers, in one of the most potentially dangerous spots to be for great whites. I'm way more worried about not getting caught inside when a big set rolls through than I am about sharks. Unfortunately I've never had the chance to dive with them, would certainly love to though. You should check out the channel TheMalibuartist really cool drone shots of great whites peacefully cruising around swimmers and surfers.
For the most part they steer clear and give humans a wide berth.

These are always interesting dude. Love hearing the stories. Living in Central London there's no danger of me succumbing to this kind of fate (unless a plane I'm or a ship I'm on in goes down). I'll sit on a beach (in the shade) - but no way will I ever put my toes in the water. Actually I went chest deep when I was in the Bahamas several years ago and thought - uh oh - shark territory. I won't set a toe in the ocean since!

The Farallon islands see some of the largest GW's on the planet, Sharktober being the peak season for their visits from what I understand. Spear fishing? 4 ft visibility? I've had enough trouble with barracuda when spear fishing in 40 ft plus visibility. Those cold water fish are definitely tasty but no thanks.
Farallons part of that Red Triangle in all my attack books... South Africa, Australia and the Red Triangle have to be the worst for them attacks with New Zealand also having their fair share. I read in one book of a guy lifted from the water and shaken and they said he wasnt bleeding by the time rescuers got over. That is basically shook as his blood out with that move....

Some charter fisherman hooked up to a 20' great white 20 miles off Destin Beach Florida June 4th this year. That's where I go to the beach and it scares the shit out of me.

This would be interesting! There was a guy who disappeared off a beach in Perth a few years ago, and nothing was every found of him.
That guy that died after hyperventilating is sad, as are they all. You can really get a feel for how traumatizing these attacks have to be. He probably saw a shark or shadow or got bumped by a buddy and thought it was a shark what ever it was it must have reminded him of the attack.
That was just him speculating, he just said he died later while diving, lots of things can go wrong diving. I like your picture though Xi Jin-the poo. He's way more dangerous to people than sharks are.

I once spent time in India many years ago not far from a place called Goa, on the beach a bunch of local fishermen was cutting up a Shark am not sure what type may be a Tiger Shark, any ways I asked how far out did they go to catch this incredible creature, to my surprise he told me in the shallow's, less than 3 feet of water, we decided to stick to the Hotel pool, scared me because nobody's mentioned that.
Don't forget they float their dead out to sea from their holy river.

I think the guy who hyperventilated at a late date was probably a territorial bite to the shark. The shark had a kill down there, hence the entrails, and when dumbass went to take a look, the shark gave him a bite like they do to each other. They bite each other around the head in territorial disputes.

You are so refreshing! I love the top predictors. Eagles, hawks, coyotes etc. I know how important they are. They insure that our wild nature remains balanced and healthy. But I don’t believe that sharks are more afraid of us than we are of them!! Lol!

There’s one place you won’t find me and thats in one of Hal’s “you’re an idiot” segments!!! Lol I spent my life swimming in the ocean, jumping off boats as a kid in the Bahamas swimming with wild dolphins. I never knew how easy it is to get attacked by a shark. After hearing a hundred of these stories I am now terrified of the ocean. I will continue to scuba dive with a blade on my ankle but without proper defence I will stay in the boat from now on. Thanks Hal! Lol

Sharks and how freaked out i have always been by them. The attack stories have always fascinated me. But the show is basically the result of a discussion with a few people tgat think sharks dont like to eat us and spit us out. I have read of sharks throwing up the remains… is very rare. So when we are hundreds of attacks in, i will have what i am looking for. Stats to go with the attacks i know of

No way, I grabbed my Dolphin 6V torch 🔦 & slipped over the side. It was only after some time I realised how big an idiot I was. This was up in Far Nth Qld. Aust. Grew up in SoCal. Parents rented a beach house every summer from 1965 to 1969. I surfed & body surfed & boogie boarded every day along with my siblings and hundreds of thousands of people. No one got bit that I can remember (Newport & Huntington Beaches). We did get stung by jellyfish tho! I think "over" fishing, fishing & chumming for vids & tourism has changed sharks behaviors. I kno sharks now equate boats to "food." Cooks Bay Tahiti never had sharks till tourist boats started chumming. Humans are smart & dumb at the same time. Sharks are smart.

Every time I hear a great white in 3 feet of water baffles me. Get a yard stick and stand it beside u. Are you kidding me!?!?. The people standing there and trying to help has to think they're watching a horror flick. I'd like to think I'd try to help. The only thing I'd do is jump on it's back and pound it's gills. I would stay away from the mouth!
All that Liver oil allows them to float pretty high in the water. Still had to be brushing the bottom a lot during that attack.

There was a young lady in Reunion sitting in 2ft deep water right on the beach front when a shark attacked & killed her. They think the shark was a bull shark or a tiger shark.

I grew up down in St.Thomas usvi. When I was a teenager I worked for a marine science lab for a while as a flunky and I remember they purposed a study of just such phenomena.

I’ve been spear fishing at thousand steps in Santa Barbara in 40 to 60 feet of water and felt that dreaded feeling. Not many things are more frightening than being 150yards off the beach and there is not a fish around, you can’t get in to shore fast enough. Didn’t stop me from going back though

There's a great early 80s documentary, I believe it's called " The Real Jaws" where All Giddings tells the Leroy French story. It also talks about Lewis Boren. It's on TH-cam. I recommend it!
I've found this show to be very educational. Call me previously ignorant (as I was), but I honestly didn't know something as big as a great white would dare to venture into territory as shallow as three foot of water.

Hi Hal. I left a message for you on ur Bloopers vid. A great white attack over in West Aust 6 or 7 Nov. No remains apart from pair of goggles. I hope I’m not being uncaring about the ordeal showing respect for the family & generally as a human being.
No. This is about the sharks, not the victims as sad as the stories are. Have to give the most recent months for searches, Autopsies and witness statements to be out so we get the whole story. Have a ton to get to so by the time we do all the attacks on record before 2020 those will be a few years old.

You’re the first person to make sense as to why great whites hit surfers from Below instead of just mistaken identity it’s because they’re immature and learning that makes total sense I’ve never heard any sign to say that before but it is totally true and totally makes sense
If it was all about young sharks then why does alot of people also get hit on surf boards by 18 19 or 20 footers as well. Not just 10 11 footers attacking people. Alot of times I do believe it is mistaken identity because of low visibility. Sharks only see a silhouette just like we do when we look up in the water. Not just young sharks mixing up what we are.
@@wakingforbacon6439 I think those are territorial or predatory they have really good eye sight so I don’t think most are mistaken maybe a few but there’s plenty of attacks in clear water on a beautiful sunny day
