These are Bad ass and awesome.
Just turned in my vulture 15x56 Binoculars. Hated them. They only work good in bright light. Or looking in the sun direction during cold cloudy, foggy days. The eye cups kept coming down, and could not see through them with my glasses on. The 15x56 Vultures are not reliable in all conditions. I totally don't recommend them at all but totally recommend these Kibab 18x56. Christal clear and can see through them pretty good with my glasses on. So clear it makes it look 3d and like looking through a brand new clear glass window. 🙂
The eye cups lock in place, and has locking eye piece. These are worth buying. Almost no need for a spotting scope and I can hold these with out a tripod. 🙂🙂🙂❤

Ocular diameter is 3.73mm (15x56) vs 3.11mm (18x56) so a little less bright but not enough to make a difference.

I like my Nikon Aculon A211s 16x50 Porro prism bins. Very bright, lightweight, easy on the wallet!

Are these binoculars a good substitute for the Nikon ed50 scope

Hi, I don't think so as the binos only go to 18X power. Think binos for glassing, spotting scopes for checking detail.

Hey Robby, I know Jordan Budd did a review on the Maven 15's, have you checked out the Maven 15's and if so how would you compare these Vortex Kaibab's to them?? Thanks

Charles, I'm so sorry I didn't get this comment in my notifications! I wish I could do a head-to-head on the Maven's and the Kaibabs, but I didn't have the opportunity. Sorry!

Can you do a review comparing the old Vortex 20x56 and the New Vortex 18x56 please??

I seen comments about the 20x 56 kaibab. They have posted they are excellent for astronomy, they have seen jupiter, saturn is just not true don't buy them for astronomy you will be disappointed period. they are nice bright feel good in your hands. I love mine, not only those but also the 120 razor. No complaints guys but astronomy come on.

It takes observing skills and a solid tripod but you should see the ring of Saturn and possibly a hint of equatorial belts on Jupiter.

They should have kept the 20 power. Increase the objective to 60.

And yes you may see crates on the moon, but you don't want to spend $1400 to see the moon's craters. Don't be fooled no galaxy, nebulae, clusters, or double starts........

You can see that stuff with 10x binoculars. Maybe your just used to the big views of a telescope
