For the past 3 months watching Joel’s sermons, old and new, listening to his podcasts, and watching his live Sunday service are the only things that’s helping me with my depression.

I over think a lot . Sometimes I get anxiety attack and can’t sleep.
But when iam here listening to God’s words , unbelievable I feel so good and I fall asleep.

Joel has alot of haters but he has gotten me through the toughest moments these last 2 years, when I burned in emotional, spiritual, mental and physical grief.. he helped me see the light and guided me to feel 1000% better. I pray for my wife and my children, my Emily, my Jazuhlen, my Alex, my brian, my adrian and my mya, I pray for my mother and my father , I pray for my brother john who's a homeless drug addict and my brother rick who's health isnt all that. I pray for our salvation and health, our marriages and our relationships, I love everyone who reads this and likes this.. I'm a famous record executive who manages the most legendary rap artists and top 40 , Billboard artists and grammy winners, I have had millions of dollars and have seen much career success. But I have failed at the only success that is true, which is life , health and the treatment of those I love and cherish the most, lord I ask for forgiveness and guidance. I worry too much about others.

I take on things and sadly I keep falling into a trap “I have to”, “I need to”.. , what can I do”, “I need to do something”..
I see so much that needs to be done and change.
I want to achieve so much but I’m so so incredibly broken.
My health is broken.
But leave it to God is what I have to do.

Dear Kareem, I was having exactly the same situation: too much to do for me, for my family, worrying way too much about the results. Additionally, I selfishly wanted the results to be like I wanted.
Then through Joel's sermons my heart and mind opened. Now I do one thing at time, doing my best and afterwards I let go and let God taking control of the results, which are out of our control.
Every time I pray: Lord let Your will be done in my life, not mine. Even if it may seem difficult, it is easy and right, because it's Yours. Amen
Joel is exactly right and that's how I have lived for a very long time. You just go through life and just do the best you can, and God will do the rest! Also when you ask God a question don't expect him to always answer, go out and LOOK for his answer!

Hello. I was a negative person and God helped me to be a positive person. The secret was: there is a reason for negative thoughts. It is a way to protect yourself from frustation. We usually learn this mindset from our parents.
But Jesus, everyday, come to me and say: be positive and you will atract positive things. And He gives me courage, braveness, inner peace, balance, motivation, joy of living, hope and even more faith.
It is like Jesus is training me like a Coach. He is helping me to practice all that resoueces. If you are a positive person, the most importante thing is the capacity to learn and grow with your mistakes.
When you become a positive person, things will go wrong and you will make mistakes. But The Big difference is: you will be capable to learn and grow with your mistakes.

I have been to a number of churches in England, Australia, Singapore & Malaysia buy I have never ever hear anyone preach like this showing us how to go on in Christian life when we face different difficult situations in life - Be still & know that I am God. People can compare Joel Osteen with his father John Osteen but Joel has his own style of presenting the Gospel - Joel does preaches the death & resurrection of Christ & eternal life. Praise the Lord for Joel & his ministry.
Just reading coments after hearing this is just uplifting. How beautifully we are all connected to the Lord, from Pastor JO to all of us who heard this to the ones going to find it in TH-cam eventually. We definitely are being taken care of by God and thanks to Jesus we are saved from hardships and blessed beyond our comprehension.

I trust that with God all is possible. It's difficult to remain positive with so many negative ppl around me but I will let them sleep on and move on without them because there are good things in store for me.
I sit perfect in a lost world. Confused by the day to day-family not giving and providing what they were responsible for..however, I realize even in raising my five kids and doing the best I can that I have all I need with the Lord Jesus beside me in this walk

I wish i'd seen this Sermon back in 2018 when it first aired!! Would have saved me 4 years of heart break and disappointments. But i think it came to me at the right time being October 7th 2022. God spoke to me through this sermon today. I asked him to speak to me and he did. I have received it all the way in Kenya.
