- We’ve all been through disappointments and unfair situations. Because of negative things of the past, even mistakes we’ve made, it’s easy to have the wrong image of ourselves. Too many times we’ve developed a slave mentality where we don’t pray bold prayers, we don’t believe for our dreams, and we don’t expect good breaks because we feel unworthy.
But 1 John 3:2 tells us we are sons of God. Joel wants to help you gain a new vision and understanding of who you are, not thinking about what you were, what you’ve been through, or the mistakes you’ve made. When you realize who you are-a son and daughter of the Most High God- you’ll think differently and live differently as you expect God’s favor in your life.

Ive been struggling with religion all my life. Recently, I have officially accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I know he is real. Still learning more and more about Christianity every day, and I have been practicing prayer and reading my bible. I also watch videos on TH-cam and Joel is one of my favorite to listen to. Thank you Joel and thank you God.

Powerful message! God will do for us what we believe he can do. Faith is our sword, prayer is our shield, and good works, our armor. God's heavenly presence is greater than any worldy presents. Those who truly have his spirit, have a spiritual foundation rooted in love. Put God first in everything you do, and he will put you first in everything you do. my children, mother & sister act like I'm the servant that has to "supply" and be "respectful" while they are disrespectful, dishonorable, cheap, greedy, cruel, unkind, demanding and think they have rights and their feelings matter....nobody else and nothing else matters, only them. I have to work very hard at keeping myself encouraged in GOD and HE does comfort me all the time. HE never failed me, but I am really tired of all the abuse, neglect and terrible disrespect. @@mrundisputed010 thank you for caring; however, I am a female and so are all of them. BUT, my both my children have come to "see" thru their aunt (my sister) and my oggly mother (lol) and guess what? GOD really "hears" prayers and all my grief. Both of my 2 daughters "see" but the younger one actually came back to me and fought with the others about how they treated me - this is years and years of abuse on me - but now she is actually back and I can finally get to enjoy my grandson who is 4 years old. Miracle of miracles and he loves me, loves me, loves me. Now, I am waiting for my firstborn (the elder) to finally get to that place where she can feel "safe" admitting the truth instead of continuing in her victimization that she "needs" to be "accepted" by the old lady who is the leader of the entire mess I have suffered. Even my sister told my daughters that I was right but she too is too intimidated to stand against the old lady - she is exactly like a cult leader with very tight control and I am in awe of GOD how HE is bringing my babies out from that "land of captivity" the devil took them too. Amazing huh!!!
