Welcome to the US! You were brave to walk around the San Diego hotel so early in the morning. All of the trash/tent under the bridge was the uniqueness of California….the homeless. So glad you are now on the trail!
Hi Julia...welcome to the US! That ball is a softball (slightly different game from baseball, generally same rules, but bigger ball and pitching underhand). I will be following you all the way to Canada! Wishing you all the best. My year is next year so I'll be rooting for you all the way. Have fun.
Don't get used to that luxury, nothing like that on the PCT😁. The shuttle bus looked real good and loved that photo on the monument! After all this time you do not want mic or even worse video problems - Good Luck! Cheers Alan
Amazing Julia! So excited for you that you’ve started on this incredible adventure. What an inspiration! 🎉 Hope the trail is treating you well so far - I’m excited to catch up on your latest videos! x
What an interesting first impression of the US - a baseball field and a homeless camp. What's ironic is that for the next several months you'll be living a "homeless life", too, but much more dignified. Happy Trails!
Really looking forward to following your adventure! I'm also called Julia and also from the UK and I'm hoping to hike the PCT in 2025, it's so inspiring to see a fellow brit doing it!

Thats a softball. Baseballs are smaller. Interesting walk about. You're doing it. You look so excited. Keep trekking. 😀
Ah! So was the pitch a softball pitch? I need to Google softball as we don’t have that in the UK.
Execelente aventura
