One of the greatest books read by one of the greatest actors of all time
I have been listening to this for the past almost 40 years and still still become emotional 😢 ever time I hear it.
40 years later and I still feel emotional and am teary when I listen to this beautiful words and mucic ❤🙏
This is my favorite version of this narrative
I Love The Prophet !
I was just sixteen and gathered every one of the writings and was inspired.❤
I was 15 when I was introduced to The Prophet. It inspired me to become a poet
God bless this beautiful man!!! and all the sad, lonely, but beautiful souls he saved! with his beautiful & insightful words!!! ❤😇
A gift from my parents when I was 5 years old......
I was introduced to this by a friend more than 40 years ago and every day since it gets fresher and more insperationally relevant each day of man's chaotic & nebulous survival.
Bestest version! Thanks for the upload brings back childhood memories of Sabbath days⭐
I usually find peace when listening to this peace .. I actually feel such contraction in my body and mind … I want to share this please. ❤
❤ THANK YOU for this! Lost my copy and sooo missed it - until now!
One of my bibles. Everytime I read it, I learn more about myself and by extension, all humankind.
a tip: watch series on Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Corey Luka yup, I have been watching on Flixzone for since december myself =)
This lyrical reading creates a pleasurable, if sometimes overly orchestrated, layer of background to words that deserve more than a dry intonation. It is best for those who are already familiar with the passages.
Wonderful piece🤏🤏
Very spiritual and educative
My stepdad introduced me to the book a year earlier. I saw it while buying Quincy Jones' & The Isleys latest, so I got it for him. I played it more than he did.
Cool! I read that there is a quadraphonic mix of this album!!!
r i p richard and kahlil
This is my favorite it is a guide
❤ for goodness sake tho the background music is far too loud .. it’s actually disturbing ❤ this is such a vital piece
PLEASE simply allow us to enjoy the words please
I cannot recommend this version to my beloved family
Never got tired of hearing this album. To the critics of it being too noisy , it was made 50 years ago by a Turkish producer and vice president of EMI and Manhattan Records who won eleven Grammys. You are comparing music of then and now. There are other versions available without the music
❤
Big influence also on Elvis Presley. Elvis knew the book by heart. A giving Soul Elvis was.
Indeed the music is too much
His words are literally, "love in action!!!" ❤ 🥰
I read this in 5th grade
the background music is far too loud and unnecessary
Just my personal opinion, but I think this could have done without the happy go lucky Christian chorus and chirpy music in the background.
B H
I used to listen to this 40 years ago and think it magnificently produced
Khalil’s words resonate hypnotically in Richards voice combined with the music
BH tell that to 1974 😂
This brings back fond memories of hearing this in my home as a kid.
What....Christian chorus are we talking about here?
Try the version done by Paul Sparer. I confused this album with his. They are very similar except for the music. Some people enjoy the music. I prefer it without.
Christian chorus? Hate much?
This is supposed to be a beautiful resited poem, út the uscik is far too loud and spoils all the quietness of it.
Mm
❤
