Making a St. Brigid's Cross - Living Arts Project

As part of the Living Arts Project, Artist Caoimhe Dunn is working with a primary school in Co. Wexford.
Due to Covid -19 restrictions the project is shorter than previous years and to give a few more opportunities for the classes and teachers Caoimhe created this video demonstrating how to make a St. Brigid's Cross
Materials
Scissors
Ruler & Pencil
Glue or Sellotape
String or elastic bands for tying
Newspaper or Card to make strips - you will need at least 16 strips
The Living Arts Project was established as an artist-in-residency scheme in primary schools, supporting the existing partnership between Wexford Arts Centre and the Arts Department of Wexford County Council. The aim of this project is to provide children with an understanding and appreciation of contemporary art.
