A great country and an amazing cause that is in much need of help. I personally am not a fan though of celebrities attaching their names to everything in bigger bolder letters than the actual cause. Just my opinion/perception, not a negative criticism.
Maybe that ceremony happened too soon and should of waited when Ellen DeGeneres had a break to be able to be part of the ceremony too. It would of been nice to of seen the both of you giving the speech. But that wasn't to be. If only Portia DeRossi didn't have itchy feet so to speak to want to go without her wife. If this was truly Ellen's gift Ellen should of been present at Rowanda as well. It was an awesome video to watch still.
but if portia didn't make it for Ellen than she wouldn't of named it the ellen degeneres wildlife fund. I am sure portia would have wanted Ellen there but I don't think they could have changed the date of the whole ceremony just so Ellen could go.
@declan lee there's no need to swear at me. And nobody is perfect. I got it wrong and I realise now that the date must of been a fixed date that couldn't be changed. I'm sure Portia was thinking about her wife in spirit which helped her through her speech which was absolutely fantastic. We are both fans of there's right and we both love what Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi do for this world. There the best. I'm sure you agree that they are.
