Kandi Burruss finally snapped on Kim Zolciak Sunday night during an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Black Twitter was totally here for it.
In this scene Kim Zolciak basically suggest that at some point Kandi was into more than just Kim’s music. As you know last season there were a lot of slanderous things said about Kandi as the ladies tried to expose aspects of her personal life for the sake of their tired storylines.
So lets talk about Kandi’s Tweet which reads:
I’m sick of these bitches lying on me. @KimZolciak I have NEVER wanted you or your box. And stop swearing on your kids while you’re telling lies. Lying ass bitch. Somebody’s really reaching for a permanent peach here... This is my house. You’re just a visitor!
Obviously Kandi Fans came thru in her defense and shared some pretty juicy memes. Even some of the housewives chimed in with Nene saying “She always lying” and Cynthia joking about the time she needed to borrow a room at Kandi’s home.
Luckily Kim Zolciak didn't shy away from responding. Here’s what she tweeted out getting over 1000 likes the first hour.
If anybody is lying it’s you @Kandi You and your husband are full on swingers fucking all kinds of girls and can NEVER admit it. And bitch if it weren’t for me there would be no house. Remember I built this house!
Now whether or not Todd and Kandi are swingers I dont know, and quite honestly I think Kim will say just about anything at this point to be relevant on this platform so I’m just gonna move past that and get to the part about her building “this house”
Yes Kim Zolciak and Nene Leakes both did a good job creating a name for themselves and being apart of what would become Bravo’s Bread and butter RHOA, but to say Kim Zolciak built this house is just not accurate. At the time, They premiered with just .65 million US viewers and only reached a little over a million viewers each episode until their finale episode 7 which earned 2.21 million US viewers.
What Bravo did for season 2 is the move that not only built this house, RHOA, but paved a way for other shows that followed. When they added Kandi Burruss in 2009 for season 2 they knew that they were getting a celebrity which paid off allowing the series to peak over 3 million viewers for the first time that season.
That is also why every single season that they’ve added new cast members they have included at least one “Celebrity” in the bunch.
Adding Cynthia Bailey in season 3, Kenya Moore in Season 5, Claudia Jordan in Season 7, and Kim Fields in season 8.
So Kim’s claim that she built the house is just wrong and since Kandi has been a Main Cast member since the show started and the first Celebrity Real Housewife EVER, she has earned the right to say “ This is my house. You’re just a visitor!
Obviously this is just my opinion which is based of the facts, but I want you to pick a side are you rocking team Kim or team Kandi for this one. Comment below and let me know. Let's be real, both Nene and Kim built that damn franchise. There's a difference between facts and truth. You have the facts with the numbers, but "the truth" goes a little farther than facts. Yes, Kandi was technically a celebrity, but when she joined, she was mostly known as the songwriter of TLC's hit, "No Scrubs." Xscape hadn't been together in years; basically, she was that girl from the 90s group. The show was steadily building from season one to season two. Yes, there was a spike in season 2 when Kandi joined, but by that time, word of mouth about this new hit show had begun circulating. Does anybody remember Kandi's story lines season 2 or 3? Kandi really started poppin' when Todd came in the picture and they started showing their family drama. Before then, the most Kandi ever did was pop off on Nene once or twice. Kim on the other hand was the one white girl that could hold her own against a bunch of Black women, plus, she had the storyline with "Big Papa" and Nene tellin' her to close her legs to marry men, and she had that incident where Sheree snatched her wigs, plus, she caused radio shows and social media to start a "free Sweetie (her black assistant) campaign." And Kim was the first to have a spin off and a hit song off the show. Come on. People may not like her, but lets not pretend that she didn't help build the foundation of the brand more so than Kandi. Now Kandi to me is the bigger star and more relevant. She's back with Xscape, had many spinoffs, and started many businesses. But, btw, you have a really good speaking voice. You should pursue something with it.

Kim and Nene are the true stars of the show, always have been always will be. Without them I'm pretty sure it would have never survived past season one. I always felt Kandi didn't belong, she is a true musical genius, an amazing singer and song writer that this public display was beneath her. I'm sure it was done for the dollars and additional exposure for her various business ventures. Personally, I feel Kandi is the only authentic person of the bunch. What you see is what you get.

#TeamKandi! I'm tired of Kim pimping Black woman swag and always using them to advance herself. This has played out from the music, to the stylist, to the hair, to the men. Kim has never worked for or earned anything, that's why her nursing degree remains dormant. ....okay, okay here's my take on this issue as well as this comment section (because I can't take some of yall)....number one, I try not to form an exhaustive opinion from a 3-minute scene but Kandi had already stated that Bravo sets up scenes to create drama so this could've been a ploy to keep her "lady pond" admissions going. I'm #teamentertainment btw. Both of these ladies have contributed to the success of the ATL franchise. Also, let's think about it without bias...in terms of building a house, there has to be FOUNDATION/FRAMING first...that comes before ANYTHING...the foundation/framing will always be in the FIRST season. IF that foundation was laid well...if that framing was constructed well, then the house is on its way to being successful. Don't take what's respectfully Kim's. Now keep it going, Kim built it, Kandi contributed to it and Kim is no longer a resident. She has HER OWN HOUSE now...don't take away her credit. If Season 1 didn't do well, there wouldn't have been a season 2...ask Deshawn Snow (no shade)...but my thing to some, in fact, most of these comments...it's hypocritical to suggest and include racism and ignorance in your comments because Kim happens to be white. If Kim said even a fraction of those things you've said, you'd be protesting. Now, in the name of reality tv, I'm here for nailing those ladies against the wall but keep it a little cleaner. FYI, Sweetie DID NOT get fired as the show made it seem...I know because her sister was a colleague of mine...it was more than just money that delayed the completion date of Chateau Sheree...I know because I lived literally less than 3 minutes from her so I saw the property BEFORE it was "grass and dirt" (as Phaedra shaded)...I was a resident before I even knew THAT was Sherees property. Kim’s lying she said kandi and Todd are swingers she didn’t they wanted to swing with her. If it was true you’d have no problem repeating the same story. No one watches her show so she’s tryna be like nene and make a cameo to get back on the show as if she was a fan favorite, which she is not. Honestly she was the black...or should I say white sheep of the cast. I always think she was a strange fit for the show, we didn’t miss her when she gone. Tonight's episode was full of shade and Kandi had a lot to say ...
Kim and Kenya and Nene brought the viewers. Nobody cared about Kandi, her celebrity or any other retired celebrity status of the others mentioned. The viewership peek was coincidental. I hate to say it, but I agree with wig; she did build the house.

Generally speaking though, it doesn’t matter how many people live in the house after you built it, you still built it. Not taking Kim’s side and I’m not taking Kandi’s either. The show can survive without both of them, so it’s neither one of your houses. If you’ve been a viewer from the beginning, then you recognize the show has lost a lot of its former spark. I went from a faithful viewer, to I see you when I see you.
Kim was a chain smoker they found at one of Nene’s Party. No one builds anything their first season. In 2009 nothing was built. Those girls had no authority.

On the contrary, the fact that the show made it to a second season means the ones involved in the first season, built that house. Nobody can join something that’s not there. That was a group effort and it’s still a group effort. They can BOTH leave and the show will still be successful.
Yolanda porter correct they brought Nene and Kim back for a reason. It was getting boring didn't have a storyline and Porsha and Phaedra were the funny two. Folks really making up storylines now, who cares about Cyn dating, Kandi trying to interrogate didn't seem real, Moore no longer has anyone to pick at, Phaedra's gone and she is hiding marriage and baby change is good but people want drama. To me Sheree never had a storyline she just spreaded gossip, now why wouldn't she carry the bones back to Nene saying she is staying out of it but so freely threw Porsha under thr bus and sat saying she was waiting for Phaedra to come clean when she should have said Pha said this and Porsha this. Messy Queen is Sherew and talking about domestic abuse but was in Kim's space and pulled her wig.
