This was never a movie that was supposed to be super technical, it was more or less an action-comedy-love story about essentially 2 assassins that were married and found out about their secret lives and what happened after. Its a feel good shoot'em up movie and was never designed to be bisected that way. Unlike a movie like john wick, while still not realistic you can clearly see who he's engaging and more often then not, his shot count is accurate and lines up with his reloads.
Then the whole elevator scene - she goes in with a rifle, shoots with it, goes back still holding it, then comes out with a pistol instead - from the left side of the elevator instead of the right. It's the silliest stuff that one notices between the cuts after seeing the movie for the 20th time over almost two decades 😂The shootout itself is hilariously unbelievable but still entertaining to watch.
This looked pretty cool watching it as a kid. Looking back at it as an adult it just looks silly. They are literally surrounded on all sides by professional soldiers with rocket launchers and machine guns and they are willingly stepping out into an open space with no cover. They would have been dead in less then 10 seconds.
Well it was in slo mo and i guess it was less than 10sec and i am asuming the squad didnt expect them to come out so they where preparing maybe. And somehow all worked out 😅
