Tekken is so much different from all of the fighting games they did. All of this stances and fluid movesets, step dodges... It is really next level compared with the most fighters games pretty much ever.
There are my probably better Tekken soundtracks, but the Tekken 3 soundtrack is my favourite. It's probably nostalgia but Tekken 3 is also my favourite. I would love a Remaster where they keep everything the same but modernise the graphics.
I remember reading when Namco was just starting on this game, they were going to use an addon device for polygon upgrade because the backgrounds for the arcade were in 3-D. They just made some small changes, like making the backgrounds flat and changing some of the characters (because slightly lower polygon count). But it turned out great without the upgrade. This is my favorite Tekken in the series.
Not surprising if that's true given how old this game is. The computing and graphics power available were just a fraction of what's available now. Moore's Law and all that. Pretty sure even a pretty low-end computing and graphics setup today could absolutely smoke the best 1998 had to offer. Heck, any half-decent contemporary smartphone or tablet could almost certainly *vastly* outperform 1998's best.
Excellent fighting game really enjoyed the soundtrack another excellent playthrough the Williams sister of course a personal fav so is Michelle and Julia well done
When the game Tekken 8 comes out, I really want basically, more or less the mascots of Tekken Heihachi, to be finally deceased or at the very least, he's a cyborg and if he is a cyborg, I want him to be basically a reference to Darth Vader or a reference towards, cyber Akuma/ Gouki, that will be fun to see in that game.
She always reminded me of Leifang from Dead or Alive 😅. She was a good addition to the Tekken franchise and she had some of the best moves and music tracks 😁
Never tried to play with her ( Eddy Gordo main) but she seems like her moveset is similar to talim from soul caliber( maybe wrong) ill plug up the arcade version and try her out. Great job LG
I will like to play an Tekken game that's basically more or less, the Tekken version of Street fighter zero/street fighter alpha, to show the audience, what was happening, between taking 6 and Tekken 7 or what's been happening, between, Tekken 7 and checking eight, basically more or less, given us a reason why we didn't get to see all the characters returning to Tekken 7 or why they won't be in Tekken 8.
Useless info time, again. Ling Xiaoyu's ending in Tekken 3, was the only ending to have 2-d animation, up to that point. Ling Xiaoyu wearing this outfit was the saved data icon used on the memory cards. When asked if you want to delete the game save, Ling has a special animation of her kneeling and crying because you were going to delete the save. Not many were happy with the way the sub-boss characters were released. Instead unlocking the corresponding sub-boss of the character you beat the game with. On the home version, they were unlocked in the specific time released order of the arcade machine.

Such an amazing game. Still play this time to time! So awesome! 👏👍
The best Tekken in Human history.
Trying change my mind!
