That box was rough man. You are definitely due for a good one soon. You said it perfectly, the only way to really make any money in this hobby is buying singles and either grading them or holding until the value goes up. Opening boxes or buying into breaks will always be a losing proposition over the long run. It’s the same in all sports. Honestly, there’s less value in most basketball and football hobby boxes. You can hit really big cards, but the boxes are incredibly watered down.
I am a collector as well. I appreciate you being careful with all cards even the cheap ones, it’s great to back and look at the ones you like. Even if that cost $.50 it’s what we loves. 💪🏼

Basically. But as I said. Not every box is the same. My past 2 were arguably worse. I’d say 100 back on a box is what I’d expect. Singles are definitely the way to go.

Panini made much better designs for UFC cards. I have not had any luck with Topps. Given that they have no competition right now they don’t have to put many hits in any given box.
