First rule of card shows only about 10% of the sellers are good people. They are hustlers. I was the only one w a ufc booth @ a show. If you can grade ur good cards its the way to go. If you dont have graded cards u will take a hit. Ufc legend autos are the easiest to get rid of. Most i talked to are casual fans @ best. I had a shav rahkmonov gold 23 chrome auto obody even knew who he was. Prizm Ilia rookies same thing. Hobby lobby has the good shadow boxes for cheap for when u get ur table.

I feel for ya with the card show experience. I’ve been attending shows across my state for a few years now, and just recently someone actually had a partial table set up for UFC! His prices were crazy, as expected, but the lowest I could negotiate him down to was still $15 over eBay comps, with a lower grade. I fought off the FOMO, and decided I should probably get my own table. I don’t have great cards, but at least I wouldn’t gouge.

Don’t be so hard on yourself man it happens to the best of us. I’m a big fan of your channel because you provide honest information and rips. Not a fan of the channels who always get super rare/perfect cards and just flex 24/7.

If you want to feel better, my wife heard me talking about the Valentina topps chrome Queen card, she went to eBay and bought one psa 10 way over priced and she can’t cancel it……I already have that card that I wanted to send to get graded myself.

None of the round 2 cards you picked up are true rookies. If it's a true rookie the card will say "DEBUT" on it. Round 2 are considered rookie year but the true rookies are marked with debut on them. Jon Jones and Chael are about the only big name true rookie cards in round 2

Dont be to hard on yourself... At least you have a few UFC Cards at shows. Here in Germany there is nothing, 0. Sometimes you get lucky on ebay. For singles.

I paid $10 for a 1/299 ian garry auto 2024 topps gold label. Was it worth it?

Opened mine. God a /10 zahabi auric autograph, golden greats royce gracie /99. Fom the numbered i got /50 alexa grasso class 3 and /199 despaigne class 2. Got the evloev class 3 but in better condition. Overall pretty happy even though the card could be in better condition. Just really small eaten corners

Unless you had bought UFC sets in 2009 or 2010, it would've been possible to make money, but not with today's sets where there are an overabundance of different parallels and lack of big MMA stars and legends that haven't retired. I really dislike the trend of including so many different parallels, which gives you a false sense of value by giving you lower numbered cards but with many more tiers of colors. It gets really confusing and messy.

I have one that you won’t be able to find information on. It’s a Topps 2017 (fighter worn memorabilia) Nate Diaz on the front. On the back it says (43/50 FMR-ND Congratulations! This is an authentic Fight Mat Relic Card of Nate Diaz from 2017 Topps UFC Knockout.) It has Nate standing in fists up position with green chrome background. And a piece of the mat next to him on the right when looking at the card. I have found similar but all had higher production numbers.
