@@LifeHacks-gl4lj yes it in fact works better as it's resistivity is more than epoxy.. Only problem is it will melt if your device gets too hot Or if you live in a hot country. I have already made two high voltage multiplier as shown in this video and i have used wax.. It is working great!
Standard Araldite is a good HV insulator. Not the quick set stuff, the standard “slow” epoxy. I use it for HV repairs all the time (vintage engine ignition magnetos) & it’s fine 10kv+ no problem

when i made my HV transformer yesterday i used plastic kitchen foil one layer between each layer of wires. even one layer tape is too thick and you waste valuable space for coils by putting 5 layers of tape
Kasyan TV putting layers as thin as kitchen plastic foil would make the tape break. kitchen foil is great for multiple purposes and i strongly recommend you to get some and test its amazing properties

What are the real the volts of the teaser ? And why not using two 9 V rechargable batteries that would reasonably provide (in my understanding ) the power to make or use bigger transformers for true stopping power ??? You know - if ever use it my life or my family's life and property would be at risk - so no second thoughts options ...
