👩🎨🖌Hey Debi, i so enjoyed this video. Tips to remember, you don't want the "slushy situation" and you can't get it
"Uncrunched", Your dad is such a sweetheart💙
@@Rivendell1697 Yes...he is!!!I
Deb that piece of furniture that doesn’t have a door, put a pretty curtain over the open space. Something that will match the paint. Love your videos! Keep them coming Deb!
Love the PINK & PURPLE on the new velvet couch
-And I Love the Royal Blue with Gold Trim Painted Cabinet!
Everything is Beautiful 😍
Another ICONIC Velvet Sofa painted project and you still own and used the original one. Leave it to Debbie to dare paint a Velvet Sofa that will come out GREAT in the end. Perfect girly color too! 👏
I've been watching your videos since I was 16~ and I'm 26 now✨️ Your videos have inspired me to paint every piece of furniture I have 🙏✨️🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 definitely gonna paint a couch in the future~! Keep making your amazing videos! With love🙏✨️🩷
wow Mary thank you for watching for all this time, hope you create a beautiful sofa! xo
@@DebisDesignDiary on the piece that was missing one door, I would insert a safety install small fireplace. 😊
Your dad laughs and says, "Yeah, really excited." cracks me up! I adore him!
🥰❤🥰
That Secret Stash Spot!! I always see so much cool stuff I NEED! 😍🤩😍
Honestly, I remain amazed at your creativity, Debi. And your ability to pull us in & bring us on your journey. You have inspired me to re-decorate & add color to my laundry room (along with a collection of antique purses & vintage kitschy animal planters). Every time I go in to that room, I smile. Thank you for your beautiful videos & for sharing your sweet soul with us.
Debbie...you look all of 12 years old without make-up!!❤ Your freckles are so charming😊
I can always see the resemblance between Debbie and Ellie when Debbie goes All Freckles and No makeup. Simple and Charming!
Yes! Freckles all the time! ❤
Right! She's adorable.
I said the same thing in a previous video, rocking the freckles! She's adorable and I love her voice and mannerisms.

I found the song..elle Holcomb and drew have a new fan because of you..I sent your painted refrigerator video to my best friend..she fell so in love with it that I didn't gear from her in days because she had to go and binge watch all of your videos... KEEP INSPIRINGUS DEBI....
My goal is to be surrounded by as much color and beauty as you are. Your content never disappoints. Thank you, Debi.
Looove the new sofa! 🥰The question I have is:
When Is Your Book Coming Out, Miss Debi?!!!!🤔💜🩷🩵🎀🧡☺️
For the dresser that is missing a door you can put a shelf in and a couple of baskets.
You are a Paint GENIUS!!! Sofa and dresser are GORGEOUS!!!😍🥰🥰🥰
That buffet was phenomenal! Just put an English rose fabric curtain where the missing door is, maybe on both sides.
I did that intentionally with an old Hutch. Removed doors and added a rod and curtains. Great Idea!!!
Ellie, I love your comment about your Grandpa “ the only one who reads the instructions”. lol. I also love the painted sofa, yes, reupholstering furniture is very expensive….Ellie you are doing a great job of filming/editing.
Bravo to you to just change pretty much everything in your space, just like blink it's all new.❤
Love Ur new tags!!
I’m proud of U walking away from bill paying pieces when there is no place for them! I’m also proud of your attitude about it!! “I have to Trust that it’s meant for someone else to get the Blessing!” GBY -SE Houston❤
I love the new sofa! The colour is beautiful and... happy. I really like the buffet painted blue and gold
This is one of your most visually appealing videos thus far!
Thank you, Mel❤❤❤
I am a new viewer, OMG I am in color Heaven! 🎉❤️⭐️🎉❤️⭐️‼️
I remember the green sofa and really enjoyed watching this amazing blended pinky sofa! Love the mixed videos with shots of thrifting and family! Blessed days!
the new round tags are such a great idea.
I’ve been watching you since the CC Caldwell days! I did try to paint a pillow, and didn’t follow the rules, so it got crunchy but I still love it… it’s an outside pillow anyway. The biggest Takeaway I have today is how easy it is to change up your color scheme… You’re fearless, Debi! Love to you and your family!
Amazing as always Debi!!! The dresser makeover is just as delicious as the sofa- both are just beautiful! Watching you remake your space and your families spaces gives so many ideas- I appreciate you sharing all of the things!!!! The first thing I ever made that you showed on you tube was the globe light… that was years ago and you’ve been inspiring me ever since!!!🥰💕 Bobby did a great job picking out a sofa for you!
Your videos always puts a smile on my face with your art work your family and the music😊I look forward to them every week💖
Oh my gosh Debi I have to applaud you on your restraint. I don't know if I could just walk away from all those gorgeous projects. You are stronger than me girl😅 ❤❤
Found two chairs perfect for my first d.i.y. project-wood with fabric cushion. Saving up for paints and brushes!
I was here for the first velvet sofa. I was just thinking about this one last week wondering when you were going to paint it. It came out spectacular! I love the colors. Especially the darker part where it meets the frame. Phenomenal! And that gold. Lovely. Your color change from pink to blue. WOW! You make it all seem so effortless. (years of practice at it’s finest) Thank you Debi for all you share. A feast for the eyes & soul. I appreciate you.
I have never painted upholstery ! But I think it’s BEAUTIFUL !
Thanks for another fantastic video!
The sofa turned out so beautiful, always a treat to watch your creativity
Wow, you were busy! I love your post-workout recon missions! You are exercising a lot of restraint when you leave things behind and that is no small accomplishment! From one furniture rescuer to another...I'm sending you a virtual pat on the back! haha The sofa is gorgeous and I love how the purple in the 'shadows' really brings depth and dimension to the piece. Great video!
Beautiful job, Debbie! ❤❤❤
All I can say is you are amazing and so lovely. Love you and your family you are surely blessed.❤🙏
So great, Debi!!! I will miss your gorgeous Bohemian Blue sofa but the new one is so stinking pretty! Love the tips, too. xoxo
Thank you, Dionne , I really love it a lot❤❤❤
I love love love the sofa. I can’t wait to try painting an upholstered chair or sofa. Don’t know how you drive off without picking up all the freebies of furniture. Wish I could find a place like that. Your apartment is looking cuter and cuter. I’m 75 and would love to paint all my furniture bright like yours. Thanks for sharing 🌸💗💗💗
On the free furniture piece missing the door. I would add a shelf and either leave it open or create a little curtain to cover. Beautiful finds. You have a good eye & hate to see things end up in landfill. ❤ The new tags are a great idea!
Love everything. The tags are such a beautiful detail!
Ever since I saw your Victorian couch that you painted black, I have been wanting to try this. I want to start small. I have a footstool that I am going to paint. Figuring out the color and any transfers. Love your colors and your products and I'm so glad I found you. And I wouldn't be mad if you had kept everything pink. I like pink. I used your pink on some outdoor bistro furniture. Everyone loves it. Wish me luck! I hope to see more videos of you painting fabric. You have so much talent. Thanks for sharing.❤
Love the new sofa and buffet... great transformation❤❤❤
Love it all !!!!!!!!! You are so talented!!!!!!!🤩
The new sofa is GORGEOUS!
Love your new couch, Debi, and the blue dresser to go with it. Hope you enjoy sitting on it without sagging like your old one 😂❤️😂
Another amazing couch makeover my friend! YOU are the diy Couch Queen!!!
I think your pink sofa is divine!! Blue and gold was a great choice for your dresser too. Very inspiring. I wish I could get your paint but I'm in New Zealand. Thanks for the great videos.
Your new sofa is gorgeous!! Love it!! ❤❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the paint! I bought several samples in August or July and have been enjoying them. The cabinet that was missing a door.? Just remove the other door and use baskets in the space, or not. I adore that you are fearless with color, and that you USE COLOR. So much... upcycling people do is with blah neutrals. Which have their place, but for me the colors you decorate with just make me happy. It's a feast for the eyes.
This video hit the spot. I've been blocked a bit this past week. This gets me excited to craft. Thank you!!
You make it look easy. I'm sure it takes practice. The sofa is gorgeous. 😊💙💜🩷
I enjoy your videos so much. Ellie your hair looks really good long. Have a good week ladies.
Thoroughly enjoyed sharing time with you. Thanks. ❤
Love love love sofa and ur sweet family ❤
Never painted any furniture but love what you do.
Deb, this turned out so beautiful! In fact your whole space is such a feast for the eye!
I have not painted fabric but I painted some little wooden and your paint is so of the most fabulous paint to work with!
My Hoarder Heart!!! I can relate! I Love when you say things have a "Situaton". Hahaha. I can't make it thru a whole video before commenting. We Speak the same language.
I would put a Large Square Basket or Storage Container inside Cabinet where Door I'd missing. Or Add a Shelf inside. Also Good Idea when a Drawer is missing.
Debi, you’re so daring! 😄 Love it all! 💜
Yeap! Your creative mind is so awesome .
Love your painted furniture
Your home is so beautiful. Love the new couch and the dresser that you painted
The sofa is beautiful and the lampshade painted blue looks so much better to me. I have never painted upholstery but I have painted my jeans and I feel inspired to start painting again. As for the secret place, I would have such a difficult time walking away without taking almost every piece of furniture. 😳
Yay...am happy today to see your video...
I’ve never painted a couch! But man I want a hot pink couch 😂❤ I love your secret spot ❤
Wow Debi I love the new lounge the colour is beautiful your so good at matching colours 🦘❤️🐨
It came out so beautiful. I just love it
A couple of years ago, inspired by your video, I painted an ottoman with diypaint, and like your couch i used bohemian blue!! I did one layer and a touch up layer, it turned out so great!!
Yes, I painted my first sofa with leftover cabinet paint, and it’s crunchy, but it was my first experiment, and I used what I had on hand. I just painted a vanity chair and I love how it came out. I’ll be linking this video to my TH-cam video later today. Thank you for being such an inspiration creatively ❤.
Hi Debi, I love your videos! You asked if anyone has painted their furniture. I have, using regular wall paint! My sofa, two love seats, and 2 wing back chairs. I liked the way they turned out, they feel like leather. I have spilled coffee on my sofa, and it cleans up fantastically! Great with animals too! The finish isn't for everybody, but perfect for me! I'm really interested in using your paint on a couple of my velvet, cane chairs. They are a dusty rose now, but want a terra cotta color when finished. Thanks for your tutorial! 😊
Love this video! The couch turned out beautifully. Many years ago, I tried to paint a piece of fabric furniture and it got crunchy! The first problem was that I wasn’t using DIY paint😱😳😜🤪 also not nearly enough water.
As you may remember about me, I am a furniture rescuer. What you may not know about me are my hoarding tendencies!😂 I admire your strength to not take everything you like from the secret furniture stash location. 🤪😂😂
I love you Terry Lou!
You have a beautiful gift! ♥️♥️❤️
Beautiful couches!!!!!!
I remember you painting that couch in the alleyway. It was inspiring then just as much as it is now. I haven’t painted fabric furniture….yet. Thankful that DIY paint is 20 minutes from me! Yea me!!
The missing door…put a vintage wooden box overhanging to the outside a bit. Paint it bright yellow and plant up the box as well as each drawer.
Love your blue and white print prissy dress!
Just lovely!
Beautiful
Talent x100
I would have got the little white table to 😊
Great looking room,love it!
Beautiful color on the sofa.
Yes I want to paint a chair.. working on the nerve to do it. Love your videos
Yeah I did it years ago, as an experiment, turned out crunchy. lol Didn’t dawn on me that water would help. I am a blender like you. About 20 years ago, I decided to paint my bedroom set that had been my grandparents. I blended an aqua with a light sea green. Then in places I stamped small leaves, as a surprise. You can only see the up close. I found an awesome 3 piece mirror on the side of the road and swapped out the original mirror. I still love it.
those color transitons are gorgeous! Reminds me of a vulcano or something
I have never painted any upholstery, but I certainly want to after I watch u do it... it might just happen sometime in the future!!
I would have definitely got the dresser with missing door. Easy to make another door! IOD mold decorative item to cover up the carved (?) area on the remaining left door. Then of course, one for the "new" to be built door. ❤
Beautiful ❤
I'm looking forward to the day when you and Bobby just take the plunge and declare your love for each other! 😅❤️
I love love love your videos and how you do projects! So inspiring! Such a talented artist! ❤️
Debi great job! Love the color you created 😍. No I have not painted a sofa yet. Have a great weekend. Yumiko from the shipwreck crew.
Hi Yumiko! 👋
I know you from Jami Ray's Sat night thrift hauls! I've not watched the lives in a few weeks though ‐ just the replays.
@@kirstenrissling879Hello from Texas 👋
Perfect time to watch this video I want to go to your store and buy some paint for my chair, hopefully I see you there and you can give me some advice ❤
I have two chairs that I want to paint I bought the stencils to do them and the walls. Wish I could use those transfers on soft furniture. The comments about freckles make me giggle. I hated mine growing up. Now they’ve faded away. I don’t think it’s hoarding it’s your creative spirit that just ant be contained. Hard to reign in when you’re inspired.
I love this!❤
Just sand, paint...also in the space of the missing door, Then wallpaper inside with some fabulous wallpaper, the stack some nice thick bath towels inside!! YAY!
(For the inside of the old buffet)
omg that original sofa video was the first I saw of you long ago. I can't believe its been 8 years because you still look the same 😊
You are amazing!!!
Take it and sell it.. it was a beauty!!
I have painted multiple chairs. None came out crunchy but ALL took me so many coats and I had paint running all over the place! I swore I’d never do another one! I do believe if the colors are close then the project should go much faster. This came out beautifully!
Regarding the furniture piece with the missing door, you could frame out the section without the door and add a shelf in the middle or take out the other door and do the same on both sides. Or someone else mentioned putting in a cute curtain - love that idea!
Yay!❤🎉
The one missing the one door…I would do a small safety insert fireplace. 😊
Great vid.
I haven't painted fabric yet, but I'd love to try it. I have some canvas outdoor chairs that have seen better days (badly faded). I'd love to try painting them and adding your bird and leaf stencils to give them some va va voom.
I watched this video while relaxing in my painted chair and ottoman! I got the most comfortable chair and ottoman from a friend but it was an ugly brown and gold pattern…I painted it either salty kiss or monet’s garden. It has lasted really good…it’s used daily. My friend thought I had bought a new chair not used the one that they gave me. Now I really want to paint it another color….wondering if I can do that…. I love your new sofa and I especially love the kissing booth and blue iris combination.
