The divers sure like to circle. That is the fun part of hunting divers is watching them work the decoys. They will often make several high speed runs before decoying. Trick is to let them keep making runs until they out there feet down....or not. Good way to loose cripples though.
Jealous, we're covered up in geese but absolutely no ducks. Last weekend literally saw 10 ducks all weekend. Went this morning and had 2 GWT buzz (shot 1) at shooting light and that was all I saw.
We pushed back our hunt trip just so we ccould hunt this day. We knew the cold front was coming. It was so nice to have these big ducks blow in on the north wind.
I'm up early in CA watching ur video. How are you liking the 18 I so far? I know Josh has had some issues with his so far. I like gas guns better than inertia even though I own an sbe 3. I think gas cycles faster and better most of the time. Seems like inertia u have to have it against ur shoulder more or it doesn't cycle right. As always love ur videos and waterfowl knowledge.
I absolutely love it! I have never shot so well with any other gun. Now that I've had both gas and inertia I'll never go back to gas. They are just too dirty. I have had a couple of cycling issues but only a few. Hopefully those will go away with a few more rounds fired.
Well yea thats the thing with inertia it has to have a good backstop you can jam an automatic pistol or rifle the same way if they dont have a gas system or its worn out
