Before I begin, I want to say thank you so much to Kaze and markkoo for helping me put this cover together!!
I initially approached Kaze for this cover because they had drawn some emotes for me and I loved them and wanted more art from them!! And the moment Kaze asked me for what I wanted in my commission, I basically said something like "lol can you draw every frame from this music video for me" and Kaze surprisingly said YES!!!! (and also offered to animate the video for me because Kaze is super nice). I was so lucky to have gotten them to do this for me. Thank you Kaze, your art is amazing!! Please go comm Kaze when they open comms again!!!!!
Another big thank you to markkoo (who mixed my last cover as well!) for the great job he did on this 😭😭😭 I personally feel like I didn't record the best lines for him to work with, and yet it still turned out amazing 🙏 He was able to make all the tiny edits I wanted even though he was in a rush to go on vacation. He's super awesome to work with, so pls go comm him!! You are so good at mixing, markkoo, tysm
Lastly, thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey as a VTuber (and now VSinger). I have made so many friends thanks to VTubing and lost some along the way. The lyrics of this song resonate with me because I feel like I'm the side character of my own story a lot. I'm not the genius, not the one born with enormous talent/skill, nor the person with the luck of being born into privilege. I struggle so hard with my mental illness that I'm constantly at the edge of giving up. But when people tell me that they like my voice and my music, it makes me want to stay and try a little longer. So thank you for letting me stay here a little longer with everyone.
This cover is also a present to celebrate both my birthday and debut with my Goddess model!!! I'm not retiring any of my other models, I just wanted to have a formal introduction/event for this one, since I've never had a debut stream before 😳

thank you for liking my cover!! as for the translation-- I am only a beginner in Japanese so i don't translate things myself. i used these translations to make my own lyrics th-cam.com/video/h0SC8YN0lOI/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/GcGZZL1ufcU/w-d-xo.html and the translation on the vocaloidlyrics wiki page lol but i mainly used the translation off of the 6x vocaloid cover because that's what i liked listening to the most lmao
i'm not sure if you're asking about general translating or about the way i wrote english lyrics for the song-- in that case, i will say that i also found it hard to capture all the deeper meanings of everything. when i write english lyrics, i just run with the thought of that i (personally) will never be able to make it 100% accurate, so i'll just try to make it meaningful to me and put my own interpretation on it. i just tried to focus on what emotions/ideas seemed the most important to capture to me, and focused on getting those thoughts out and if i missed some, then i missed some.

i was a horrible singer for a long time. I started taking vocal lessons back in 2016 which i continue to take to this day. don’t think you can’t sing because you weren’t born with natural talent!! singing, like anything else, just requires a little practice to get better at it!!
