Josh wants to say: "My bad y'all! I misspoke at 1:30. Psalms is indeed in the Old Testament. This is what happens when your Bar Mitzvah was 25 years ago! I'll do better next time. Until then...Ceasefire Now & Free Palestine!!"

Psalm 72:8 "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth." It's a prophecy about Jesus/ Yeshua the Messiah, of the seed of David, for when He returns🌿"But to the Son (Jesus) He says:“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” Hebrews 1:8-9 .. Also, see Isaiah 61 in the Tanakh/ Old Testament, as Jesus read the first few verses himself in a synagogue in Nazareth (when He first came), and clearly stated that He fulfilled them (see Luke 4:16-21). They are great hopeful verses :) 💛

@@debbiegoldman2590 No, voting for Trump is voting for Trump. The goal is political change: If more people vote for grassroots candidates then the chance for grassroots empowered change increases, no matter if their candidate wins or loses. If more people vote for one of the corporate duopoly candidates as a harm reduction vote aka the lesser of two evils, then grassroots empowered change is squashed. Voting grassroots is a win-win. Besides, if everyone who says "Greens can't win," actually voted for Green, Green would win.

huh? ancient hatred? Muslims were living with jews in ancient history peacefully. the ones who persecute the jews were of the other denomination. does he know that? and even that, the christian king gave way for Muslims to stay among them. so which ancient hatred is he talking about?

I think it’s also important to recognise that there shouldn’t even be a debate - Palestinians are having their basic human rights violated in unimaginable ways and I don’t think we should normalise people revolting against this as a ‘challenging’ view. Though of course it is complicated in the sense Israeli propaganda is so intrinsic!

52:48: Back in 2009, when I was a student at Central Michigan University, I am proud to say that I was a part of a grassroots group started by my buddy, Jack, called the Third Party Movement. We would organize on campus. We were basically ignored by most bystanders and faculty, save a few good professors who encouraged and supported us. Even back then, 15 years ago, we were well aware of these undemocratic, insidious voting laws that killed grassroots movements through insidious, capricious tactics like placing cap limits on allotted funding and DARVO behavior from the powerful corporations and lobbying groups that ostracized, alienated, and exploited the narrative and media coverage to pigeonhole us as “radical, anti-authoritarian, dangerous anarcho-communists, Antifa, bringers of the plague.” Basic method for killing dissension, right? Divide, frame, target, and discredit through incredulous complacency on the part of the general public that bought the lies and manufactured consent. We were angry then. We were very worried and disenchanted with the whole system. (By the way, the police were beating up peaceful protestors then. Now, everyone is seeing what they have been doing all along…)
A poli-sci professor told my friend that by 2020 there will be a collective social and climate crisis that would reach global levels. We feared that it was too late, fascism had solidified its grip on the American people and elites, and that we should all move off-grid in solidarity to protest the complicity in our imperialistic, authoritarian bullying, and fascism, generally speaking, that our institutions and society condoned and sanctioned. I wish I had done that, seeing how it’s 1,000-times worse, and how fascistic it’s becoming. But I’m hopeful now because we are seeing my daughter’s generation organizing and fighting back against status quo tyranny selflessly, prudently, and intelligently. But our students are giving me, and us, hope for a fascist-free, all-inclusive renaissance. That’s what we started. And they are doing what we couldn’t do back then because we were in a different era, different paradigm of international politics and awareness. I would say that “what is coming right now is a consciousness revolution: a revolution of consciousness.” Although relatively small, our collective awareness wasn’t anywhere near where it is now. These kids are awesome and aware and awake and compassionate, merciful, motivated, and conscientious.

Love this channel, I have considered myself a pro Palestinian since I first learned of the conflict in the region in highschool in 1990. My best friends were Jewish with parents who were in the in camps during WWII and left there homes and moved to Israel and then came to US. Even then I would sit around there kitchen table as we watched the news coverage( which was heated at the time) and listen to them discussing the conflict. This was when I became very passionate about it and felt 100% wrong done to Palestinians. I wish there were people like myself who are older, center leaning Democrat, support this issue. I believe the far left, mask wearing in 2024, gluten free, emotional unstable kids may cause an ick for people that may be on the fence about supporting Palestine.

So an idea for the next episode, which is only semi related. How about doing a show on rank choice voting. Maine and Alaska have it. How is that relevant? Because of the genocide people are on the fence over whether or not they wanna vote for Biden or roll the dice on a third-party candidate. Rank choice voting is basically a social safety net. You rank the candidates on your ballot in order of preference. And in the event that there is a runoff, your vote is transferred to whoever you wanted it to go to if they qualified for the runoff. The first candidate to secure a majority wins. So far only Maine and Alaska have it. After 2016 every state in the nation should have it. And we need to make a system that gives us more options but also forces new discussions. Not just Palestine, but Congo as well.

But they - christians- don’t experience systemic oppression in the US so we don’t have any need for these terms, so they why you don’t know these words. Though if you ever go to a church service you would never know they don’t experience systemic oppression here. They talk about being oppressed constantly, even in the liberal denominations like the Episcopalians

    No Taxation, Without Representation
    ANY OUTSIDE INFLUENCE,
    INFRINGES ON,
    YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL
    RIGHT OF REPRESENTATION!!!
    Our elected officials,
    Tax Americans
    when you earn it,
    when you spend it,
    when you own it,
    when you die,
    over and over.
    But those same officials,
    give their decision making
    Allegiance to REPRESENT,
    Special Interest Lobbies,
    when those
    Lobbies influence
    the Representatives,
    with resources,
    that the Lobbies often acquired
    using our Tax Dollars,
    given to the beneficiaries
    of the Lobby
    at OUR EXPENSE!
    WE ARE TAXED, WHILE
    LOBBIES ARE REPRESENTED!!!
    Our Constitutional Right of Representation,
    is STOLEN, while
    LOBBY Groups
    are REPRESENTED, and
    WE are SILENCED!
    THIS VIOLATES the
    APPORTIONMENT CLAUSE
    of the United States Constitution!
    And until WE THE PEOPLE
    Wake UP, and
    DEMAND OUR REPRESENTATION,
we will continue to have Legislators,
    making Laws and Rules,
    that FAVOR the
    Desires of the LOBBY
    and IGNORE the
    Desires of YOU!
    ANY candidate,
    in ANY Party,
    that accepts
    Any LOBBY Resources,
    NO LONGER REPRESENTS YOU!
    They may say
    what you want to hear,
    but they will always
    REPRESENT their LOBBY Influencers.
    Until we
    DEMAND OUR REPRESENTATION,
    We will Continue to be
    Frustrated
    with BAD Decisions,
    that HARM Americans,
    and FAVOR LOBBIES!
It is up to the American Voters,
    to UNITE and DEMAND
    NO MORE LOBBY FUNDS
    to OUR REPRESENTATIVES!
It is up to the American Voters,
    to STOP UNITING around
    Parties that are Influenced by
    and have ALLEGIANCE to
    Their LOBBY INFLUENCERS,
    instead of pledging their
    Allegiance ONLY to their Constituents!
    ANY INFLUENCE,
    by ANY NON-CONSTITUENT,
    INFRINGES and VIOLATES
    the CONSTITUTIONAL
    RIGHT of REPRESENTATION,
    created by the
    APPORTIONMENT CLAUSE
    of the
    UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION,
    which establishes a
    HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES
    to REPRESENT the CONSTITUENTS
    of their
    APPORTIONED REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT!
    If they REPRESENT
    ANY OTHER ENTITY
    that is not a Constituent
    of the Apportioned District
    it INFRINGES upon the
    CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT
    of the CONSTITUENTS
    of that Apportioned District.
    And ANY NON CONSTITUENT
    INFLUENCE, NO MATTER HOW SMALL,
    VIOLATES and INFRINGES UPON
    that CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT
    ESTABLISHED to
    create a House of Representatives
to give a voice to the Constituents
    in the Legislative Process!
    This was the ENTIRE PURPOSE
    of creating and establishing
    the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!
    If they accept ANY DONATIONS,
    from ANY SOURCE,
    that is Not a Voter,
    in their Representative District,
WE the PEOPLE must VOTE them Out,
    and Elect ANYONE who pledges
    to not accept
    Any Resources,
    Any Donations,
    Any Trips, or
    Any other type of Influence!
    BECAUSE,
    ANY OUTSIDE INFLUENCE,
    INFRINGES ON,

    RIGHT OF REPRESENTATION!!!
NOW IT IS UP TO YOU!

@yacyus2003 I did Some reading. WAY more than you. I also know DNA and languages in the Middle East. Actually, it is ASIA. BUT you are to uneducated to know that. Did you LOOK at my picture. The NAME Palestine is a EUROPEAN name. There is NO P in Arabic. Second, the " Palestinians" Haplogroups are Mixture of Arabic AND African. Egypt is BOTH in Asia (AKA The Middle East) AND Africa. I know this because not ONLY do I open a book. I also know world Maps and what Transcontinental means. I ALSO, Traveled the world TOURED the world. And visited museums.

Palestine is a Greek name, and country names often don't directly reflect the identities or demographics of their inhabitants. Anyway, could you explain the shared ancestry between Arabs and Jews? You're an expert.

@yacyus2003 Nope. PALESTINE is NOT just a Greek name. It is a EUROPEAN NAME. And it is NOT a country. Nor are the They FROM that land. They have ZERO historical evidence there, unlike the Jews.

The Arabic word is Falasteen. Europeans couldnt pronounce that, so they said Palestine. Kinda like how Egypt is actually Masr, and Morocco is actually Maghrib. Myanmar used to be called Burma. Some country names in English are unrecognizable and there's definitely an element of racism there.
