I think its also fair to say Paul was NEVER meant to be a warrior but a philosophical crusader after the Harkonnen Siege of Arrakis. I seriously hope they span this series to Children of Dune if possible. Anything beyond that (God Emperor especially) would be really hard to streamline or visualize on the screen.
Don't know what you were talking about what year 2000 but the first dune movie was from clear back in the 1980s I believe! And it crammed the entire storyline into one movie. The man who created dune back in the 60s I do believe was the George Lucas of the 60s but he couldn't even make a low tech version of doom like George Lucas did Star Wars in the 1970s! He couldn't get any backing until his family after he died sold the rights to make one movie to somebody in the 1980s this dune is at least going to be two movies or it might be a trilogy like Star Wars. I'm pretty sure somebody got the rights to their original concepts and all the books with the set drawings and paintings and all the technical information that wasn't able to be done in the 60s or 70s because the technology didn't exist.
the character is 15 in the books, he’s supposed to be young
