You are a super high line fisher and always find fish. Did you dip your reel in the water to land that fish? I remember many occasions of close contact fishing on the Russian River in Alaska for red salmon in the 1970's. Were there many others enjoying your same solo spot?

That was like a non surface striper boil! One needs to be like a Mt. Goat to handle those rocks. It's amazing how "big" a stripers mouth is; that of a top level fish predator!!@@AndreMull

How do you know when time is best for schools?
I'm never really sure when they will come. Usually I like incoming tide. But for example I went fishing this morning. I didn't get any bites all incoming. But once outgoing started the fish started biting pretty good.
