Every other review and teach I've watched just makes this game look Too Damn Complicated, but then your playthrough made it all make sense. There's definitely a lot of plates to keep spinning, but the actual gameplay seems to be tight and manageable. Makes me want to play! Great job.
I find the scoring to be the trickiest part to teach in Kanban, both end game and end of week/meetings-scoring. How to get stuff is pretty simple, but how to do it in an efficient manner and how it all fits together scoring wise, well that's a different story. I'd also like to add that I really enjoy the mini expansions, especially the Speedcharger module makes Admin a much more interesting space to go to. Good to see the gang back in action!

Great playthrough as usual! Love this game, even though I've only played it online still. At 3:05:00 Edward is claiming 4 points for being certified in a department he's not (iconography misread for logistics and "push-cars" department). Would not effect game results much though.
At 1:20:02 I think you can only recycle when you are going to use the part you receive immediately? So if you were about to push a car you could use recycling to get the part needed, or if you were going to upgrade a design you could do the same. I don't think you can just swap things out if you aren't going to use it straight away? Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong! Amazing video as always!
At 2:59:00 when there's the confusion about the pace car. Is it possible to check where the pace car should be by counting how many cars each person owns and tracking from where the pace car starts? I count 9 cars at that point, which means the pace car should be in the right place? Is that correct? It's weird because the pace car definitely didn't move on Derek's turn, so it must have most more than once earlier in the stream...

What does the red 1 shift "Spend 1 Shift" icon mean when looking at Administration (not the training)? I've been told you just ignore that icon in Admin and can perform the task in R&D as if you had placed your worker there. It doesn't make sense to me that you just ignore an icon on the board. The rules don't say you can ignore the "Spend 1 Shift" icon and doesn't address the scenario of claiming cars from Admin. The "Spend 1 Shift" icon means you only spend 1 shift. Is the board incorrect in having the "Spend 1 Shift" icon displayed above the list of dept icons?

Then you'd only be able to spend 1 shift at a time in Admin to perform a task in 1 other department that requires 1 shift which means you initially won't be able to get the last car in R&D since you must follow the "Spend 1 Shift" icon rule in Admin. To claim the 2nd, 3rd or 4th car requires 2 or 3 shifts but Admin has that "spend 1 shift" requirement so you'd have to use 2 banked shifts to claim the last car. By following the "Spend 1 Shift" rule in Admin then that only allows you to claim the first car which fulfills the Admin's "spend 1 shift" rule. The rules and the board conflict with each other in only this case since all other tasks require only 1 shift be spent at a time. The rules can be interpreted different ways. We can't ignore the spend 1 shift icon in admin. I understand both sides here but the rules aren't 100% clear. It says you can spend all shifts in that one other department but doesn't address the spend 1 shift admin icon nor what happens when you want to claim cars from admin and always following the spend 1 shift rule. Not spend 2 and a banked shift to claim last car. It hints more at using your banked shifts but it doesn't address the spend 1 shift rule in Admin.
Follow example from rules "Yellow is at the Workstation that gives 2 Shifts, but he spends 2 Shifts from the Shift Bank to work a total of 4 Shifts on this turn. He also has 3 Books. He chooses Logistics as his other department and decides to spend 3 Shifts working in Logistics and his remaining Shift to train in Administration. Then he spends 2 Books to train in Administration and the 3rd Book to train in Logistics."

Sandra moved the car 1 when see was in R & D which is why the pace car is at spot 9 (should be 10 from Derek's missed move).
