Don't know if this was corrected later in the broadcast, but you actually get to finish your action before killing a family member. So when Edward put his family member at the brewery early in the game, he could have received the beer and then killed that family member (not that he would have necessarily, but he could have) Also, you cannot kill a family member that's in the church bag. The family member must be visible (page 10) (1:35) Just saw Tony return his Captain to the stack of Captains after returning to Port. Captains are actually discarded. The same with the tea/cocoa bushels that are sold at market. They are not returned to the stack, but instead discarded to the box
A small correction. The person who initiates the market action does not have to sell anything. It is only mandatory that the market day occur so that all players have the opportunity to sell. It can be advantageous for someone to initiate market day when they can see no one has anything to sell, or they don't have green cubes to spend there. Also, you must pay for Inn cards when you take them, not when you play them. Not sure if you corrected this later in the video.
According to the rules, you directly have to pay for a card in the inn and not when you play it. Does make more sense anyway to buy somebody a drink and the later that person has to do you a favor.
When Edward played the Bard his #2 should not have been taken a spot in the Chronicle, so game end should not have been triggered by the final beige death. Edward read the rule for the Bard correctly, but apparently forgot when playing the card.
On 02:04:18 edward takes grain but he doesnt have a family member on his farm? According to the rules you must have a family member on your farm to produce grain.
My wife and I tried this out at WBC and loved it. Thanks for showing off the expansions!
Love this game, nice playthrough and teach.
I jut picked this up with both expansions for less than $40 in the CSI sale. Great playthrough. Very helpful.
The cocoa basket/tea bales/treasure chest/captain are put into the box after use, not return to the supplies to be reused.

And I even explained it, too! Bah. My bad and good catch, Jeremy.
I prefer My Village, especially at 2P. If it had one expansion, it would be superior for me.
Wow, we usually rush the family/inn/market.

We just made a mistake. It happens. Good catch, Roy and thanks for watching!
Heavy Cardboard mistakes happen. I really like your playthroughs so keep it goin’ 😀
perhaps a replay To clear up all the rule goofs
