Own this pedal and love it. It is very clear and articulate through a distorted amp while never being overly harsh like other HM-2 pedals can. The best feature is the cut control which allows you to chug with a chainsaw tone. Highly recommended
Hell yeah! hands down the best hm2 variant for me-so many more options open up with the parallel blend as well. Ive currently got mine on my bass board with a pepers methead in the loop. Daniel makes great stuff.
@FuzzedDrones this pedal has a blend pot and you can blend other pedals, a fuzz or suboctave (I use the Queequeg from KMA) or any other effect like a phaser.... it's very inspiring.
Nice demo man, been wanting to try one of these for a while. Did you try using any other distortion or fuzz in the effects loop? I'd be curious about blending in a rat to see if I can get a kind of chainsaw Windhand tone (or other interesting hm2 tone blends)
I'm beginning to feel lost about which HM-2 tones I have super strong feelings about... maybe it's more about the context or mix for me. Definitely some that I favor, but so many others that are just more ehhh...
I must be the only one who thinks these distortion pedals sound awful compared the the natural distortion of the amp. I guess I’ve never been able to dial in a good sound. I have the Gehenna pedal and it sounds like trash compared to my Engl head’s own distortion, must be doing it wrong
I’ve turned down many demos from brands/companies in the past . Due to the fact that I wasn’t a big fan of the product. Along with not feeling it was the right fit for the channel . I tend to do demos on products I feel my viewers will enjoy and potential use .
Great review. This is probably my favorite HM2 pedal I've heard so far! Keep killin it.
Alright, one of Daniel's pedals! 😎🔥 Oh yeah! Sounds incredible!
He nailed it on this one !
@@FuzzedDrones I know what I'm asking for Xmas! lol That last riff on the play through when your twisting knobs, sounded like deftones man, crazy.

Exactly this ^ you know the deal .
That pedal sounds awesome and with the gate and EQ built in saves space on a board.
Oooh can’t wait to hear it man!
It’s a keeper for sure
Been waiting for this one 👀👀👀
🙌🏻
I’ve never really been a fan of HM2’s for my type of playing. This sounds pretty cool. Sounds great with the reverb.
I feel this one is more than just a hm2 . A lot of useable tones other than those classic hm2 tones .

Sounds awesome
It’s solid imo . I appreciate you taking the time to check it out .
best part of this pedal is that you can put fuzz or muff or high gain in the effects loop and blend in dimmed HM-2 to it.
I like your thinking !
I love the Lichtlaerm pedals! Some of the best pedals you can get. The King In Yellow is also great.
Haven’t tried that one yet . But I’m sure it doesn’t miss !

Woah so many knobs> a noise gate!!!killer!!!
Those knobs make this thing ! I am absolutely floored by this one .
I wonder how this will sound through a baritone.
I need this! 🤘🏼😭💸
Do it !
reminds me of motorcycles rolling down a highway

I didn’t get a chance to try that feature out yet . But it’s on the list to do soon .
As much as I love my HM2, it sounds so muddy when I hook it up to my Rat Proco. Hopefully this does not sound so muddy 🥹
not making fun of you but i had a giggle at how you say Lichtlärm
lol sorry German is not my native language lol

Ok... digging the tweakability!
If you like the sound you get from your distorted amp I would recommend this pedal. It fits right in with your sound but adds a chainsaw flavor.
ultra sexy Black Les paul that commands Doommetal Respects
love mine Drop A
Thanks these old 90s Orville’s are a great bang for your buck .

What if you don't like the pedal? Take it you don't review it if you ain't into it

@FuzzedDrones That is the right answer 👍
