It's here! Now, maybe I can revisit the 99-02 to 03-07 swap? IDK, I don't own one of these trucks anymore, so it will be difficult.

Would you be happening to be talking about a cluster swap? I actually have a fully working 06 cluster in my 02 truck without modifying the cluster itself.like pi clusters, even got the wheel controls working. If so I have a ton of information I can provide

@@autumnjeserich2689 yeah that would be useful. You can find my email in the about section of the channel or at my contact form on untilbroken.com

@@autumnjeserich2689 no it's great. I'm working on updating my schematic I made for this project a few years ago but it'll take some time this evening or tomorrow to read over the email and get back to you.

Are you still repairing early 2000 GM clusters?

Hey there, completely off topic but i seen you work on vehicle instrument cluster and was curious if youve ever worked on old old guages. like 1968-1972 ish general motors. ive got a 1968 oldsmobile fuel guage thats orientation is off and ive been searching to no avail if the guage needle can just be repositioned or if the guage can be re calibrated ect. my empty is half tank and my full is basically a half tank distance beyond the full mark if that makes sense lol. its not a sending unit or electrical issue with the system just to get that out of the way. i dont imagine you know but figured id ask as i ran across one of your guage videos. thanks.

Can anyone clarify which OBDII pins connect to the BUS/GND connector on this PCB? I have a gen 4 1997 Camaro. Thanks.

I thought these chips were long discontinued. Are the NOS, or is someone now making them again?
Either way, great job, and keep up the good work!

Yes they are long discontinued. Like 2006. The first batch I got out of China was NOS but the last batch I assume they are savaged off of boards because of how they came.
These definitely aren't meant for you to develop some product your going to sell 1000s of but it's an easy way for someone to get started with j1850. At the rate I sell them at I'd be surprised if I ever sold more than 100 of them. I just wanted to open that door for others to learn about j1850 without having to use a elm device or similar.
If I was smart enough I'd do like they did on the m2 device and just use transistors but I don't think I could write a bit banged j1850 library

@@FixedUntilBroken Doesn't the m2 have open-source firmware? If so, perhaps you could use it as a starting point!
