Lombard RAC Rally - 1977

This is an action-packed look at the 1977 RAC Rally in which RS 1800 MkII Ford Escorts took 5 of the 6 top places. Only Hannu Mikkola in a Toyota Celica GT prevented a clean sweep. Some star names from the seventies rallying scene are featured including Bjorn Waldegard, Ari Vatanen, Roger Clark and Russell Brookes.

I fully agree glorious stuff rallying is crap since 1990 late 70s early 80s rwd cars were so exciting

In the escorts rally days, drivers were made of stern stuff, those old rally's were long and through the night.
