If you're on steam, put steam into offline mode before launching the game. That keeps you totally safe from being Ddossed. If you're online even in a solo lobby, you can be booted offline, because they can get your pc's ip address by using your steam name.
people need to stress that this is mainly for online play, if you're in a private lobby with your friends with t7(including private password) then you will be fine

you can play online on pc, there is a community patch out which helps but it is also recommended to also use a vpn as well. as well never do public matches, always do private matches with people you trust that also use the community patch and make sure you all have the password setup for the lobby too. dont play on playstation but you can on pc and xbox. also it was proven that there is no black ops collection, it was a false rumour created for the nintendo direct.
If you need a non safe still exploitable community patch and only super close friends that’s you can trust it’s a dead game. My entire point is that the entire real experience is dead which it is
@@thegeekslays truthfully when was the last time the average player played in a public match or without the friends they trust? also the community patch keeps the game alive, its recommended by anyone in the community and is not easily exploitable, the patch is closed source and will be hard for nearly every hacker to bypass easily since its constant updates combat any work arounds. the game might be dead in Activation's eyes but its not in the players, the game still ranked in the top 10 most sold game on Xbox recently and is very often in the top 50 on Steam, if this is the definition of a dead game then nearly every game is dead in your eyes.

I don’t think most people are going to stop playing tbh, from what I can tell (don’t trust this take precautions) it’s not taking over your console it’s ONLY when your active on the servers so if this does start happening just close the game I’d play on a acc that doesn’t have a linked PayPal or Debit/Credit card The GPU critical warning wasn’t the PlayStation it was the game assuming that your GPU was over heating otherwise you would have gotten a PS pop up

I’m glad I ran into this video. But I never thought Bo3 would have this disappointing issue that hackers are yet to basically control your console playing Bo3. BO3 is my favorite CoD for MP. I play on xbox one and last time I played (around december 2022 I think), there were some people using invisibility expolits. Player count for bo3 on steamcharts seems pretty high on top ofnactuve development and support of the game through the community as we get regular updates and releases. We are even about to get a transit remake. Game doesn't feel dead on pc to me personally

no one plays multiplayer (People still play zombies multiplayer though) anymore on pc and it sucks and also pc multiplayer matchmaking is broken too (zombies matchmaking is fine).
Thousands of People still do play multiplayer everyday matchmaking issues are why you think they don’t. Before I made this video I never had trouble finding lobbies (on console) pc hasn’t been safe in years so never did multiplayer.

I have been playing with my friends just fine, people are just paranoid and for the Playstation version of the game it is just a matter of time for the exploit to be patched since it completely goes against playstation’s term of service and if the bug is not resolved it could get their game completely removed from the platform.

There's a community patch for PC that fixes this RCE exploit, but it makes finding online games practically impossible with randoms.
There are also still a bunch of workarounds to that community patch it's not a perfect fix

Private should be ok but it is still possible if online for anything to happen.

I have been playing with my friends just fine, people are just paranoid and for the Playstation version of the game it is just a matter of time for the exploit to be patched since it completely goes against playstation’s term of service and if the bug is not resolved it could get their game completely removed from the platform.
@@MathiewMay the rce exploit was patched and less than a month later they had found another one. its not paranoia just because something hasn't happened to you doesn't mean that it wont happen.

Idk about this one brother. Might be a tad of fear mongering. Literally been playing the past few months online (pc) with zero issues. Even got a random on one game. I’m either beyond lucky or you might be exaggerating the issue
You got one random one time that’s does not mean there are no hackers. These issues aren’t new just having issues on console is
@@thegeekslays well that’s not my point. You’ve said in the other comments that even playing alone is dangerous. Not sure how that’s the case when I can go months without problem. Yes, I won’t dare go into a public game, getting the random was an accident in a custom map. but that’s not all you said was the problem.
@@SolaceWhore most of the time playing custom maps is offline. If you’re offline solo nothing can happen. You online solos can have problems
