Would you appreciate somebody sending you cheap sunglasses from half a world away, while you can get those glasses by the dozen at store probably less than a mile away from you? Especially, after you've put in so much thought into the gifts you sent them. Chantel's gifts didn't have to be expensive but then she could have made some effort, which she certainly didn't.

I think Chrissy was incredibly thoughtful with the items she choose. Her style really came through and I think it was great. Seeing this after Chantel’s was eye opening. Chantel gave more general and “basic” items but I think both girls did give great items Chantel could’ve put more effort but overall both were great!

I like the fact that Chrissy put a lot of effort into her box despite only knowing Mayumi's name! They both brought great representing items for each other. This is a lot different than another Buzzfeed Box Switch where one of the participants...didn't put that much effort into the care box :/

For the people comparing the prices of the Chantel's and Chrissy's sunglasses...the price doesn't make the gift. The gift that impacted Mayumi the most was a handkerchief that Chrissy stitched her name on...and it was the most thoughtful of all the gifts given.

I think sending the dry shampoo spray was a good idea. I find it hard to find a good dry shampoo in Japan. Mayumi looks really good with the red lips. I wear a red lip most days as it just looks so gorgeous.
