The actress is legit an indigenous deaf amputee. Her missing leg is actually real, and she’s legit deaf and she’s legit indigenous. She was working in an Amazon warehouse last year.
Hawkeye didn’t get blipped. He lost his whole family. The ronin storyline is about how he dealt with the pain of his whole family. He lost his wife and all his kids at once, and it turned him into the murderous asshole that was ronin. His calculus there was that everything was taken from him, so his journey was to exact revenge against everyone he deemed unworthy of happiness or family. There’s a lot to chew on there, even in a ground floor show.
I legit cried at the scene where he talks with his son on the phone without hearing him… the pain in his face… that was hard. T-T TBH, I thought that Kate would realize that she really need to do better after seeing how she was destroying his family’s XMas… but right after she still talks about “messaging” and how cool suits and trick arrows are cool… But Echo? She looks real badass. Hope we get more time with her.
Kate has a stereotypical selfish entitled rich girl attitude. She was nice enough to translate during the phone call but she wasn’t sorry about him missing all the family time just the whole that’s what hero’s are supposed to do. I hope there will be a redemption arc where she realizes being with family after getting snapped is more important than being an on-brand hero. I like Maya more and if her and Yelena team up I’m rooting for them.
I think she realized that she messed up, her face while he was on the phone says it all. And at the diner while she was explaining why he's a role model she said that he could've been home with his family but he helped a stranger who screwed up. But I also think because she admires him so much and has no father, she's too happy to have him around regardless. She owes him a formal apology though big time.
I don't think it's Kate Bishop's fault when she put on Ronin's suit (keep in mind nobody especially Kate Bishop herself knows about Ronins identity and it was NOT her intention to draw attention from Clint Barton) when she put it on, she's out to help the people from being attacked by the Tracksuit Mafias since she was inspired by Hawkeye saving her. It was Clint Barton who saw the tv news and was reluctant to help Kate out so that she won't be blamed making everyone think she is Ronin who killed many criminals during the 5 year events between Infinity War and Endgame. Don't forget, Kate had Clint's hearing aid (Echo destroyed it) repaired and fixed. That shows you how kind and caring Kate Bishop is, ther's nothing rich and spoiled about her but your going to say the same thing about Tony Stark and Stephen Strange? To be fair Echo is kind of bit selfish when she put her Tracksuit Mafia in danger (as Kaz pointed out) and put her hands on Kate Bishop when Kate was telling the truth that she only put the Ronin suit on. As far the scene of Kate translating Clint's son's words on paper, look at Kate's face, she already feels sorry and realizes that Clint Barton is more than her idol and celebrity hero, she saw him a regular family man, that's more than enough to tell you. By the way i like Kate Bishop more than ever, here, so i'm looking forward to how she will deal with Yelena

I think that the stepdad and or uncle is supposed to be swordsmaster, who is actually the person that taught Hawkeye how to shoot and use a sword (came in handy for his Ronan days) in the comics.

He's Tony Stark's kid. Also a computer. If he didn't just get money from Tony, he could still invent a identify and get a job. He doesn't need to eat, or sleep, he's super strong and able to process incredible amounts of information. Well, Hawkeye was in the battle of New York where Falcon wasn't there like Clint said about Antman being there according to Roger the musical. That is why Hawkeye is treated that way. He is one of the original 6 that people got to know from the battle where Falcon came later.

I found the mom sketchy as all get in episode 1. When Kate couldn't find them, then only the mom popped back up, and Kate kept hollering about daddy, my thought was that she was killing the dad.

I don't think it's Kate Bishop's fault when she put on Ronin's suit (keep in mind nobody especially Kate Bishop herself knows about Ronins identity and it was NOT her intention to draw attention from Clint Barton) when she put it on, she's out to help the people from being attacked by the Tracksuit Mafias since she was inspired by Hawkeye saving her. It was Clint Bart who saw the tv news and was reluctant to help Kate out so that she won't be blamed making everyone think she is Ronin who killed many criminals during the 5 year events between Infinity War and Endgame. Don't forget, Kate had Clint's hearing aid (Echo destroyed it) repaired and fixed. That shows you how kind and caring Kate Bishop is, to be fair Echo is kind of bit selfish when she put her Tracksuit Mafia in danger (as Kaz pointed out) and put her hands on Kate Bishop when Kate was telling the truth that she only put the Ronin suit on. As far the scene of Kate translating Clint's son's words on paper, look at Kate's face, she already feels sorry and realizes that Clint Barton is more than her idol and celebrity hero, she saw him a regular family man, that's more than enough to tell you. By the way i like Kate Bishop more than ever, here, so i'm looking forward to how she will deal with Yelena

Actually that's wrong lol. I work at a hospital and they usually say they're hard of hearing or impaired. Even the older patients rarely call themselves deaf.

Again, I treated many hard of hearing and hearing impaired people and not one has told me they wanted to be called deaf. Sufficient guidelines and their wishes are more than enough.
Even treated some amputees and guess what they were fine calling themselves handicapped or disabled. Sometimes they would say amputee, too.

@@sawcondiznuts1422 I highly preferred WandaVision and even What If. Yes. Loki was fine but it's too much set up for me for something else coming. I found myself really bored during the shows and disliking the toxic dystopian vibes. I loved episodes 1, 5, and 6, 6 being the most but would have done without 2, 3, and, 4. It could have been a movie ngl. I guess I feel about The Eternals how you felt about Loki at 75% but also 200% cuz Eternals has philosophical arguments that are more fun for me.
