Such a cool product, much better than early versions of the auto mower device. Love the AI vision feature, I really think that is the game changer because you don't have to "setup your yard" before you get this thing going, you can just plug it in and let it run. Love it!
I spotted something on the website: "Tackle slopes up to 45% (24°), ensuring even and effective mowing on challenging terrains," so it's not 45deg. How do you sharpen the blade? Is the battery replaceable? Edit: Looks like you replace the blades? How much are replacements?
You’re correct! I got that wrong. Thanks! You don’t sharpen the blades you replace them. They come with extras! Can’t replace the battery as far as I can tell. Not sure how much replacement blades are. Comes with 2 extra sets it seems
I want to see a closer look at the underside. How long do the blades last? Can you sharpen them? Is it water proofed? How does it do on wet or water dewed grass? So many questions!
They are basically the size of razor blades. It is water proof. Does fine on wet grass but there is a rain sensor you can turn on or off and it will return home when it detects rain.
Guess so. No downward firing cameras or sensors. I would think it would work more smoothly with 4 wheels instead of 3. That front wheel is exactly chipmunk hole sized 😂
Based on what you've said, setting it up seems pretty easy. How's it actually working out? I noticed there are a lot of obstacles in your garden. Do we need to make no-go zones around them?
It's really easy... you can really tell the benefits of ai as you can watch it like learn as it goes. super cool. It's working great man. now that the yard is mapped out, it literally will run starting at the time i set on the schedule, mow the grass for me then go back home. seriously. I don't have to touch a blade of grass lol it's awesome. Yeah there are lots of holes in my back yard that it fell into during mapping. It puts a suggested no go zone on the map, i hit "add" then it wont go there anymore. super intuitive.
@@SpencerScottPugh Thank you for the introduction, I'll definitely consider buying one. I've purchased some cool products on Kickstarter before, hoping this one won't disappoint me.
Wow, really impressive! I think for all mower robots so far, we should cut grasses on ourselves for the first time and then leave the task to it for the maintaining work, right? Theoretically, if it works well and on a 'once or twice a week' basis it will set my hands free I hope. I had been considering whether I should buy one since I saw it on kickstarter last week. Could you please update more videos from this TERRAMOW?
Great video! I've ordered 2 of the 1200, one for the front yard and one for the back yard. Any tips on how to set up the front yard when your grass is connected to the neighbor's, or there's a sidewalk/curb
Good question! So you don’t have to worry about the side walk and curb. It’ll see that and not drive over it. As for connected yards - you buying a whole separate mower for the front yard is the play there. Because it has a home base it can save the map for your front yard and run that map each time (I have to pick mine up and carry to front yard and use spot mode each time). That said, you can use the included no-go plastic tape to line where your yard ends and neighbors begins, or just let it map out most of your front yard and draw the property boundary on the app with the no-go zone wall option. That make sense? Excited for you… this thing is awesome and I might even buy the 800 for my front yard!
@@SpencerScottPugh Thanks! The results looks quite nice! I do want it, but it is a lot of money to spend. I also recon there will be a lot of new mowers on the market next couple of years with similar tech. But how much do you recommend it? (rating from 1 to 10)
What you think? Cutting edge (lol) new tech?

YES! exactly. I have been really happy with it and it's so stinking fun to watch 😂

What is the point of included A.I. if the device can't identify "holes" on its own. Wouldn't that be classified as an obstacle?

@@SpencerScottPugh If there was a way this thing gets rid of leaves, I'd buy this instantly. But it may be worth it for the 3 months of pure cutting.

Is it necessary for the Internet connection to be available throughout the garden?
I don’t think so, it just needs to be able to access WiFi when at the charging station… as far as I have been able to tell.
How about the dog poop? Is it avoid it or just running through of it?
Running through it
I really wish you had a picture of the yard after it has been running a couple of days
Great point!!! I’ll take one and post in community tab 🫡

Will this mower dodge dog shit
Nope!
