I tend to think of things like the pirhana generator, fishing rod, and shovel as supplemental income as the stuff they generate can be sold for profit later.
Think you really undervalue cooldown reduction you seem to not even consider it when tiny amounts of damage are available. But even a 1% CDR can be the difference of getting your item to activate before your opponent's item. Being able to get your items off before your opponents or even potentially getting an extra cycle ahead of your opponent over the course of a fight is worth way more than a couple points of damage or shield. (I'm not saying small bits of damage aren't valuable, they are and can really help out, just that you seem to undervalue cdr in comparison) I know a player wins ties in this, but just to demonstrate the argument. Say you both have 300 health and a 2 second 100 damage item. If you get 3 damage, it doesn't change the outcome, it still takes 3 activations for both of you to kill each other in 6 seconds. If you get even a 1% CDR, suddenly, you go from tying to winning. Instead of it taking you 6 seconds for the 3 activations it's 5.94. Meaning you get 3 shots in before they can even get the 3rd. So it goes from a 0-0 tie to a 100-0 victory.
Also, while watching these in trying not to backseat or give any game advice because learning this game is most of the fun! That just seems more like a meta thing that the game doesn't teach really
59:59 I think fiber optics could have been actually really good here, specially since succulents was already kind of falling off, not enough healing to counter poison and healing runs counter to shield in other situations. But! Fiber optics could have charged your battery, which would in turn charge your scythe faster (basically get 2 really quick scythes in every fight) and when your battery ran out of ammo, I can only assume the "rightmost" trigger would hit the scythe instead which would still be quite good. But even if it only hit the battery I think it could have been good.
Seeing how the Scythe critted, I wonder how the fights would look like with that diamond Vanessa Amulet... Also, Fiber Optics could charge your battery faster, but would it keep charging it even if there is no more ammo? Either way, great run!
The eel friend seems a bit iffy, at least for the late game. I mean think about it, you were fighting people who did like 500-1000 damage every time they used one of their weapons, and every time they did, the eel did... 90 damage back. For a LARGE item! Maybe if it was super buffed and/or critting? or if you have a crazy shield build or can synergize with its slow?
58:50 If you ever want a good build, you cannot just buff a single item up. You need to play around cooldowns. Fibre Optics is one of those broken items. And if you have the feeling, it doesn't fit your board, make it fit. The difference between 3.5 second cooldown on a 30% max hp weapon or 6 seconds is HUDGE!

It looked like enchanting an item increases its value, and Cove bases its shield on its value.
getting a piranha every day means you can sell a piranha every day

And Port.
I appreciate another person who hears a voice and goes “i must add it to my collection”

It's so good to see you back making content Rhapsody. Hope everything is good! Definitely missed you!
He was streaming the whole time
@EdenFrost oh, don't really use twitch unfortunately. Thank you for letting me know!
The "hard" early game fights tend to be out of balance and you need a really strong build (relative to that part of the game) to take them on

OMG a game with perfect draw pile awareness.
Excited for more Baazar
cove gained additional shield because enchanting it raised it's value and it's shield is based on it's value
lol just leaving cdr feather in the shop.
Boariar is probably the most overpowered per level enemy.
One of the best Utubers. Love your contents
Thanks for the video.

If you can, I'm extremely curious what enchanting a gumball does.
