I would have been ten months old when this was filmed. During nights I can't sleep, I look at old videos of soaps I know today. I want to know what happened.
Nick is undeserving of being a free man. He didn't fool anyone. A evil monster on the loose who deserves a jail sentence. He is pure wicked and has haunted the residents since his debut.

@@davidoftheglen3447 shut up? For asking a sensible question about sexist thinking? A question about whether that thinking was exclusive to the man or a common mindset back in the day? I say he's just sexist. I naturally fail to see how the lawyer or solicitor's gender impacts the outcome of the case.
To give you a sensible answer, A little bit of both. It wasn't COMPLELTLY out of character to say something like this about women in the early 90's although it wouldn't have been said out loud and in front of the person in question. More in private, like in front of your mates in the pub as a joke more than actually being serious. Then again, Nicks character was supposed to the the embodiment of pure evil and what you are witnessing in this scene is classic bad guy behaviour. your supposed to hate him so this was played as a way to get the viewer (again, the viewer in the 90's) to hate the him by using exaggerated dialogue But you are reading way to much into it, it was a writing tool to illicit hatred of a character by using misogyny which, at the time, was joked about but frowned upon in normal polite conversation
Nick was a complete you know what but the person who played as him is a really good actor props to him he did a great job
Poor Dot...
She tried to love her son, and did love him...
Your a legend been waiting ages for these scenes finally someone has uploaded :)

Have you got the full episode please? Michael Higgs appeared in this episode and the previous as a character named Sean way before he was Andy Hunter.
Telling the truth is important. Similar set of circumstances on Corrie for Deirdre.
Hi mate just asking if it’s possible
to not post nicks not guilty verdict as I already posted that :)
Eastenders Clips4U hi mate, and yes sure thing, I'll just get part 2 up :)
As much as an evil bastard Nick was , he was right .....if Dot didn't lock him up he wouldn't have been there in the 1st place .
Ridiculous. It wasn't Dot's fault at all.
PMT might make you moody or emotional but a barrister is trained not to allow personal issues to influence professional conduct.
Hi, do you have 9th and 11th June 1992 and 30th July 1992? :)

There are still hardly any black barristers but they always show diversity on Aunty Beeb, even though it's not based in reality.

What a horrible villain Nick was. He killed 3 people Reg, Eddie and Ashley and basically got away with all 3? Glad he finally snuffed it.
He didn't mean to kill Ashley

Nick is sexist and doubting the lady's ability to do her job. Is that just Nick's thinking, or was it commonplace to think like that in 1990?
Shut up!!!
