- A massive thank you to Eastenders Storylines and to all the other channels, who uploaded clips involved in this video. I had to cut a couple so this wouldn't get blocked and one has music played over it, as the version of the clip without had that middle part cut from it.
I grew up watching Eastenders religiously and I swear I can't remember any of these old clips! I could happily re-watch them all again, thanks for sharing.

I did that once. In 1990. My gf was cheating and I followed her as I suspected something was going on. Seen her and this bloke from the same college they both attended and I confronted em. They both denied anything was going on. Why she did not come clean and we could gave both have just moved on I will never know. I never believed her and I carried on investigating. She was at college one day cept it was not open and I knew this so I got on me Tzr rode 8 miles to the college and hid behind a hedge in the park next to the college. I saw them walking hand in hand into the swimming pool complex and I thought I'd just leave and move on cept rage hit me. I looked down from the balcony in the pool and seen him all over her in the pool with it full of other swimmers. I went down to the pool level, jumped in still wearing me bike leathers and carrying my helmet. I waded through to them without being noticed my intention was to punch him him but not easy with my helmet was in my hand so not wanting to drop it in the water I wacked him with it and departed the pool. The pool coaches tried to stop me leaving but I was not stopping.

Nick got weaker, while Mark got stronger and harder. How times change! Nick used to threaten and control Mark, then years later Mark would beat him any day.
Nick Cotton was portrayed as a sarcy bully though,, he wasn't meant to be hard.
RebelAgainst ThePuppetShow Well i know that, but Mark felt threatened by nick, and nick had control over him but as Mark got older he became harder, and wasn't scared of nick anymore. Nick could of easily physically and mentally hurt Mark back then, and Mark wouldn't do anything back (if nick ever did) but years later Mark would end up making nick suffer in a way, and nick wouldn't do anything back.
No Nick was only weak in the early 90s when he was on heroin.
In the late 90s and early 00s Nick got off the heroin and got stronger whilst mark got weaker because of his HIV and was once again bullied by Nick
Loyalist John yes but that was at around the end of mark's life. Mark grew up, he wasn't easily threatened by nick and could wipe the floor with him. But in the end yes he did get weaker.
I think Nick mentioned a few times in the 00s he'd been working out inside. Yes Nick was weak on his 91 stint due to high drug use.

@@PBL187 Nick was a million times worse than Jonny. Jonny came of as the victim during his time in the show and it took several months of abuse, assaults and been kicked within an inch of his life before he had Dennis killed and even then he ended up handing himself in. Nick killed twice for sheer pennys, woulda thrown his mum under a bus before even dreaming about turning himself in and there wasnt anything he wouldnt have considered. Possibly make cases for the other two, they didnt ever kill anyone but was generally more vile.
