    I have a 2020 Sport 2.0T and I LOVE it! Getting a combined MPG of 29 and I drive 75% city/25% hwy. Yes, it will go fast. It’s fun to drive especially in Sport mode. Everything works great. Seats are a little firm though but I still love mine.

    Bought my 2.0T Touring in April. Absolutely the best car I’ve owned even better than other model Honda’s and Nissans I’ve owned in the past. And the best part…Honda recommends regular gas ⛽️ for the turbo version! Can’t beat the build quality and reliability for the price! Great job by Honda 🔥🔥🔥

      @@chuckfan1 Really loving it so far. She's a joy to drive, comfortable, fast, handles well, and looks great. My only complaints are a few lacking features. I am coming from a 15 civic that had the passenger side view mirror camera which I loved. Sadly the accord didn't retain that. Also coming from a manual so back to automatic can be a drag at time and it does take some adjusting to the button transmission.

    2.0 T Sport also has wireless Apple and Android. It will spin the tires in regular drive. These engines were dynoded at around 280 whp. Definitely underrated. Give this car a tune and a air intake your well over 300 whp.

    That is a beautiful vehicle. I have the 2020 EXL, which I love. I test drove a Touring, and I found those 19" tires to be rather rough-riding, in spite of the comfort-tuning of the suspension.

    The wheels are the same as the 2017 Accord of which I used to own but was totaled, caused by a distracted teenager side swiped on the freeway and collided onto the freeway wall... Loved that car, to me that was the best looking model

    How well does the lane keeping assist work? Does it do a good job of keeping you centered in the lane?

    • @lorrinbarth1969
      @lorrinbarth1969 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. About half the time it will pull you back into the lane. Maybe the dash warning is useful if the driver is drowsy. But you get the warning anytime not perfectly centered in the lane, probably best disabled.

    Push button transmission. My parents had a 57 dodge with a push button torque flight. But the infotainment screen was tiny and manually operated with dials and only five buttons.

  • @Maureentv1
    @Maureentv1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I enjoyed your view of this car! If you purchased a 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T you have an added benefit of calling it also a 2022 (no changes). I love the redesign of the front facia making it more aggressive looking, besides upgrading to full brighter LED headlights. The headlights illuminate the roadway better meeting the ILS highest standard. Unfortunately, I'm averaging 16mpg in the city, which is much less than the EPA averages. What I like to see on the future Honda Accord 2.0T is a shifter rather than buttons, 10.25 infotainment screen with a Bose sound system, full 10" digital gauges, LED interior overhead lights, panoramic sunroof, and more choice of colors (interior-wise), and a redesign of the rear taillights.

  • @lorrinbarth1969
    @lorrinbarth1969 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The push button shifter? A Honda mechanic tells me that the slightest spill or even crumbs can disable the button shifter and I get to pay for a new one. A stalk, as in the base model, would be better.

I’m going to look at Purchasing 2022 civic hatchback in touring trim it should be a lot of fun on the twisty it’s smaller then the sedan and lighter on its feet Hondadata will help also.

      @@chuckfan1 I am really happy with my car. I don't miss the V6 at all. I like all the safety features that come with the touring. If I had one complaint it would be the fuel tank. It doesn't hold as much as the previous generation accord. Oh, and the infotainment system is a bit buggy.

    • @robertwilliams2498
      @robertwilliams2498 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chuckfan1 From what I have read, the infotainment system is one of the biggest complaints about new cars across all brands. It is just an occasional inconvenience. I paid $36,700 out the door here in south carolina. BUT, that was last november. Enjoy

    I still think camry still holds the title a lil bit but with the k5 and Hyundai it's time toyota pulls out the stops. Honda accord is sexy but I just don't know how the turbo charger will.hold up in the long run.

      I thought about that too. I remember the turbos from the 80's but the new ones are much better. Since Honda has always made great engines, I don't think the turbos are going to be an issue. Just keep the oil changed and should be good to go. IMO
