I also want to build such natural houses in rural and hilly parts of nepal where transportation is not easy and construction materials are very expensive, i wish if i would join workshop training of rammed earth but now these days not a such workshop training here.

What’s the Cost to build this house ?
And do you prefer this style over Hemp or cob/straw ?

i had to do this style as it was local materials being on an island I think cob would have washed away as the rains are very heavy here

Is that just straight compacted dirt or is there something else in there to hold it together?

We add a small amount of cement and lime to bond the mix
