hi frined my xj hase not the relay for the fog its because its a 1996 i dont know....but he hase the cables to conect them but not the reay in the fuse box......can i just cut and conect with the frond head lights or will i start a fire....i was just think cut contect and ready
I would not just cut it and connect it to the headlights because the headlights switch. Will burn up since it does not have a relay. They are known for that in those years.I would wire a totally separate switch in a relay
Should have gotten the 3000k yellow version of this product if possible, yellow light simply works much better in inclement weather. That said, this should still be a valid test of beam pattern, consistency and durability. BTW, that beam pattern is 100% fog light, hence it's even more Mind boggling why Jeep wired the lights to the head lights instead of the front position + tail lights.
Kudos. I don’t think I would have challenged the integrity of the new light housing for the bulbs. Do they end up getting hot? Thank You for your video!
I haven't check the heat yet. I plan on putting a heat gun thermometer on them soon to check. I have multiple old units I can snag another cover if they don't work long term. But they are a heck of a lot brighter for sure!
Nice job Major.I don't think I would have made that modification to my fog light housings. They do look a lot better though...👍👍
I've got some old fog ligh housings to use the cover if I ever go back to original. I'm interested to see how long they last
Nice problem solving skills 👏🏻
Thank you
Brighter is groovier!

@@MajorWeakness I’d love to have them brighter!
Before? After?
Works great
You could've covered the back hole with a water bottle cap & epoxy or something similar 🎉
Great idea!
This is a weird makeup tutorial
But you look marvelous after watching
