@@destruckriverivera5227 thats a plain way of saying it, in the book what happened was it didnt go right to what happened to Winston later, you slowly just start losing your temper easier and really hating your loved ones, then in later stages they are just so messed up in the head they cant tel who is friend or foe so you attack everyone until you fight other cranks til you die to one of them. OH and they didnt even look that horrible in the books they just had mad looked eyes and a few cuts scratches in earlier stages and hair missing but yeah. eventually you loose everything. What the did in the movie was a bit.... over board.

They cut it from the final movie so it just looks like they randomly lost a kid halfway through the chase scene and no one mentions it.
Despite everything, they all still looked cute huddled together at 4:38 😅 What makes this great of a movie is the idea that they're all teens going thru these journey with these challenges and adrenaline together. Sort of like LOTR's the fellowship. Wonder if we will still able to get these type of movies/stories and characters/casts in the future.

That is not where he gets infected, he gets infected by the airborne strain sometime during the last film. In the book it takes a little while to turn full crank but it's explained that thinking and using your brain extensively speeds up the process. That's what makes last film sad for me. The fact that Newt is literally killing himself quicker by all the work he does to save Minho. (I may be wrong about the infection as in the film it may be the cranks welcome tunnel)

Maybe he saw everyone else being heroes at different times and wanted to stop being in the sidelines and be the hero for once. But it wasn’t the smartest method or the right time, and it cost him💔
