Nice video; the sunrise over the cholla was particularly well done. It's hard to believe the angry comments but it seems some unhappy people are intent on increasing their numbers. Hopefully they can find something to bring some joy into their lives.
I think there's a lesson for a lot of us regarding leaving standing water in this type of habitat; looks like that poor kangaroo rat fell in that was it for him/her.

I've been going there since it was a national monument,you could stay there as long as you wanted for free,that's my spot ,the one you said was too close to the neighbor,my favorite spot.used to be you could drive in that spot

shud hav just tossed the rat into a bush, in the bag it will festered and stink until the bag pops. Outside sun will dry it and become bones or animal/bugs will eat it before that.

There’s drinking water that you can also use for dishes or cooking at the entrance station about 2 miles away, and you’ll drive past it every time you leave or enter the campgrounds!
