I loved the achievements of this game! I mean: Ones as simple as jumping X feet off a shelf, or 20 feet walk over a load of zombies! Although I must say they improved the AI of the survivors. That was one of the most annoying things in this game. Most of my survivors were eaten alive, due to the stupidity they had.
Rotten Eggs i have it on 360 but havent finished it yet. Thinking about getting it for the one later but idk, its 20 bucks and almost identical to DR2.

a silly reference to Otis: if you win with Frank in UMvC3, sometimes Otis will call him (its in his win speech bubble) and it annoys Frank. Its funny as hell xD
Actually there is a part in the game where you weld a door shut (begining)and if you find the other side if that door there is like a billion zombies and I think they respawn.
@madman101ish lol at the CoD joke, basically if they spawn by the door you enter your screwed, but if they are close by run into the trees by the pond, they struggle to get in and the gunner shoot you because the AI is dumb so the car will focus on getting unstuck, so just keep running. and level you speed up. well i hope it kinda helps you.

no you dont have to play 14 hours straight. but when you unlock the 7 days survival or infinite survival mode you cant save and after a certain time you will start to lose your health EVEN if youre not getting hit by any zombies or shot by any other people. so at that part its good to have max lvl and all books of health and food to get most of the food and ofcourse much food. they also said that in the video. i do believe you got that from them but if you didn't i hope this helped a little bit.
I remember, junior year, being home sick, getting Zombie Genocider on my TV and watching movies on my computer, only way of doing it without losing your sanity. The blaster was worth it though, or at least I keep telling myself that :P

i got like 4 days in to get both the 5 day survivor and the 7 day but i went into the food court and my game froze so i gave up on it just saying if your going for the achievment you cant go in the food court on the 4th day
Can anyone help me out here? In my first playthrough I am going to get the megaman buster, then I am going to beat it and restart a new game, will I still have that weapon when I make any number of new games after that (say 3 or 4 new games after that)? Sorry it is phrased so awkwardly.
@DirtyPlatinumGun That is why you don't just round around killing zombies. You kill some zombies, then go do some missions, kill some more zombies, and then do more missions.
The sound design is awesome, you wont find another game with this sound design anywhere, actual touching, creepy moments from the game, that stays with you, it's got great gore, a good storyline, but whatever, if you want a game where all you do is kill zombies in a variety of ways, this is the game for you, yes the games save system is boardline broken, it's very punishing, and mean sprited, but i hardly had a problem with this, but i know there are times when gamers are used to games autosave

To get the true ending, you also need to talk to isabella at 10:00am on the last day before you go to the helipad. Well, you need to talk to her at any time between 10:00am and 11:59am but still get to the helipad by 12:00pm.
i wish instead of just telling us achievements(yes i know, its achievement hunter) they would talk about the game, the mechanics, story, and tell us about things they did that was fun, ya know?

@xGNxk3g0 they're achievement hunters, not trophy hunters. their flagship is halo. they pretty much only do xbox and 360 games. i mean i have a play mostly ps3 games, but i don't get why, if most of their stuff is named for 360, and they review and play mostly 360 games, maybe mention a ps3 exclusive if it's huge (they barely mentioned uncharted3), why do people keep commenting here about playstation games?

Did anyone notice the slight jiggle effects on Jessie and Isabella? Took me forever to realize that. But yeah awesome game, in some ways better than the sequels IMO.

I think they should make a system similar to Hardcore Mode in Fallout: New Vegas in Dead Rising 3. You can chose the story with NO time limits, or chose it WITH time limits and recieve a bonus like a PP multiplier or a end-game unique achievment. This would appeal to everyone.
@CrazyPimp699 What you should be saying is take a look back at Fallout. Not just Fallout 3, a lot of people didn't even know about Fallout before that so It would only make sense to look back at the older games.

7 day survivor is the achievement I am most proud of getting. I really love the Dead Rising series. One of my favorites.

Bram25 but this was the real difficulty of the game. I just got the 50 survivors achievement. DR2 survivors are too easy to rescue

Actually with the Saint achievement, i believe you can only have 2 or 3 survivors die and you have to avert all mutinies
