I live around the corner from that pond. Caught my biggest Bass ever from there. It once belonged to an old Pig farmer and that sign was from he owned the property prior to the neighborhood that was built and now owns it.
I smacked a 10 inch bass into the boat with the trolling motor once. Me and a buddy tied our little pond jumper to a dead tree to take a break and when we were ready to get back at it, I powered up and Blamo! Into the boat she came. And yes it counted.

The us has a lot of pike also, Where I live in the US there are 30 pound pike. (13 kilograms). The small ones are somewhat annoying when you're fishing for bass as they can snap your line or half eat your lure and drop it on the bank
I miscast a chatterbait once, draped the line over a low hanging branch over the canal, way out of reach, the bait was in the water, and an lmb hit it and hooked itself as I was winding the bait in slowly to try and get it back over the branch. The fish was dangling mid-air over the middle of the canal. I just started shaking the line like crazy until the fish shook off the hook... then I was able to slowly reel the bait back over the branch and get it back.
No bs that exact thing Happened to me last week! Bank fishing w my brand new 18$ chatterbait and first cast slung it over an overhanging branch and a bass hit it as soon as it touched the water. By the time I went to take a picture, it shook off.
Still about 45 degrees here maybe 50 in the shallow water bays when the sun is out. Opening weekend out here. I usually skip it until the crowds are gone. I think this weekend you don't need a license to fish in Wisconsin.
I promise I will watch this video when I get home tonight. But I had a short request. I'm interested in buying the ultralight for my pan fishing. But I want to see it in a video or something just to see how it does. Since I can't hold one in my hands before I buy it. And I know you like panfishing almost as much as me. Any chance you could do a crappie or panfish and video with that rod
