I was at a yard sale today and got a pair of these Dewalt pliers for just $8. I was very happy to find them. Home Depot’s price as of today is just shy of $29
My old man, farmer his whole life, uses a set up of 8 inch bolt cutters, a pair of wire twisters (small round stock with holes drilled into it basically), and a pair of channel lock brand fencing pliers with a two prong plier head all in a tool belt pouch. The two prongs make it easier to grab wire with. He's 65 and fences faster than all the other farmers in the valley when we get together up on the mountain to put up or take down fence.
The video is great, this kind of tool is still very practical, not long ago, I bought a renhotecic brand pliers, it is very convenient to use, it works very well. Everyone can use a tool
Regarding battery tools-I’ve purchased from eBay NOS Bluebird pliers number 11, 14, and 25; also the no. 21 battery terminal puller. They have all been useful and high quality (forged not stamped) compared to the often rebranded Lang versions made today. I cannot speak for the fencing pliers, it’s one of the few tools that don’t come up much in my work or hobbies.
Bought a new pair, Channelock brand and they don't open well at all. (you did a video on that) I wrote Channelock and haven't heard anything. Good company, but little frustrating. Lost the old original had forever pair.
My grandpa had a pair in every truck on the place. They are the Swiss Army knife of the farm. 👍🏼
The top two hole are used to hold staples whilst you knock the staples in
Your videos are always so informative and concise. Your simple set up punches way above it's weight for info. Top ten tool youtuber, easy!
for a SHTF tool, this checks many boxes

Probably best tool for dentist‘s work on zombies (although they’re not in appropriate zombie green).

That’s an interesting pair of pliers. Lots of uses !
Haha, the barbed wire CND logo is a fun touch
Knipex needs to make fencing pliers!
There’s a lot of different pliers that Knipex doesn’t make their more into regular pliers and wrenches
Super handy pattern of pliers for sure.

Glad to see your input on these Doc! I’m sure you’ll see me picking up either the DeWalt or Channellock soon!

Doc I think it’s time to finally talk about your beautiful Rolex
My ex wife used to tell me that I spent more time with my tools than with her. She left me after I started calling my tools women's names
The cowboy multi tool...😀
Absolutely!
أشكرك 🙏على هذا الفيديو الممتع من خلال شرحك كيفية استعمال fencing pliers 😀🥳👏👏🙌🙌🥳🥳

maybe you should add these bad boys to your zombie kit, could be nasty
seems like a kind of plier you can buy cheap (hyper tough)
We donot use those kinde of pliers but insted the one with the red paint on it
don't pull the staple straight out. The tool head has arced surfaces in all planes to act as fulcrums.
Diamond Horseshoe fence pliers are/were the best…and not the cheap Chinese reincarnation of that fine old brand.
