Man, some 5-odd years later and this still stands as one of the best shows I've seen. I love that this footage is on youtube so I can reminisce now and then... Of course, contrary to the perspective portrayed by many in the comments section here, I prefer watching and listening to a concert, not worrying about losing my head in a mosh pit. :-/
Fourteen years later, huh? Depending on mood I’d still consider it a top-5 show, although in other moods it might fall to top-10. Which still isn’t too bad, lol. Of course some of that is simply that between work, age, and pandemics I haven’t been to a show in, what? Four years? Five years? Scary.
HAHA love the finger wag at 4:15. These guys are incredible... and it only makes me love them more to see that they still bring it even when the crowd gives them absolutely no energy whatsoever.
@arealhat I was at this show. I am pretty sure nobody knew who Man Man was at the time. They were opening for someone. I did, however, leave with two Man Man albums.
There were a few people right by me at the man man concert in portland tonight. They just stand there like they were bored. It seems so sad to me. But amazing as always, honus is a hoot. I hope to see them again live soon!
Why do people seem to care what others think of Man Man. I mean as much as I like the band, I can see that they aren't exactly everyone's cup of tea. Stop worrying about what others think and just enjoy the music.
I saw man man on halloween in Philly this for the first time...let me tell you the crowd was much more in to it then this. Maybe becasue its there home town but everyone was swinging and swaying the whole time. PS if you ever get the chance to see man man, see them
to settle this: "Engrish Bwudd" is the correct title. "Engwish Bwudd" is the title of the song when the MP3s leaked online. If possible, please xBUYx the album.
@arealhat Lol true true, it does suck, but it is slightly better than the crowds in minnesota who are so overly passionate, that every single concert I have been too is a fucking human crush. Actually scratch that I would rather suffocate than be in that crowd.
Hear it once and sing it forever, it's just fun!
Never gets old.
SEEING the coolest and hardest working band play in Nashville
Oct. 22nd. And the winner goes to ManMan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look how much fun they're having! Even if somebody doesn't like their sound they have to respect the fact they enjoy what they are doing.
For those of us who never got to see Captain Beefheart live. I went to one of their shows last year on a whim and fell in love.
I love this more than I can express in words. It's THAT intense.
Saw them on this tour. Fucking incredible live band!
definitely one of the best albums to ever come out ever
Man Man is MOST cool....thank you very much.
Someone get these guys to the UK. Amazing. Thanks for posting.

how about 14 years later?
when you posted your first comment I was 3 years old and still here we are connected through music. isn't crazy how music can do that?

One of the best shows I've been to. Thank you JMU.

Totally! I'd be all screaming and jumping in Engrish Bwudd!

Best live band I've seen! I keep trying to explain it through TH-cam and recordings, but you just can't.
SEEING YOU TOMORROW TO KICK OFF YOUR LIFE FANTASTIC ALBUM!
MAN MAN is such a great name! :) soo easy 2 remember and so awesome! :D
I LOVE ENGRISH BWUDD!!! just awsome!!!!!!

You have found the epicenter of the universe.
Cant wait to see them in denver in May

This is nothing like the Man Man concert I just went to. By the second song the entire place turned into a fucking mosh pit!
excellent
engrish bwudd is perhaps my favorite song ever
Casey my seven year old daughter says this is is awesome and she likes all the instruments.

Talk about appreciation for something different.
Minneapolis show was great

Man Man rocks! Thank you Brad, but it's actually Engrish Bwudd.
man man on tour, check them out near you
It's "Engwish Bwudd" on iTunes.
dude. this is soooo great. feather is my favorite slow song of theirs. i always yell for it and they havent played it. bah! mmmmm....
This reminds me of The AristoCATS...u know, when the cats drop a party and sings "everybody wants to be a cat"?...I loved that when I was a kid.

when man man knew how to have fun.
Is it just me, or is that Craig VH from Port Republic, NJ playing the bass?
The Muppets singing sea shanties, yep!
Man Man
it sucks to play to a crowd like this
gbianezzi if I was there, I’d be jumping around. It’s what I did at school when I played Man Man.
Yeah, but it normally takes some time for a crowd to really warm up to Man Man, especially if they don't know what they're in for.
Exactly. It's like Captain Beefheart doing gypsy jazz.
2:06
WHAT'S THE ALBUM NAME
2:00
Nice tags
@cjjr1982 dude its actually enrish bwudd lol
Bernard Sabag no it’s not lol
The crowd wasnt stupid, smart actually.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Why do these videos all have the wrong title. There is no R! It's Engwish Bwudd!!! not engrish!
@arealhat Lol true true, it does suck, but it is slightly better than the crowds in minnesota who are so overly passionate, that every single concert I have been too is a fucking human crush. Actually scratch that I would rather suffocate than be in that crowd.
@soulpowerpaul Your opinion is different from mine so there's something wrong with you!
Did someone hand out morphine to the audience?
Wow.. the crowd really is lifeless. :|
Do they not have souls?!
WTF THE BASSIST IS MOKING? XDD
Ummm... this is THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!!!
As in they are embarassing themselves WAY TOO MUCH!!
This is gay
Lindsey Brooklyn how are they embarrassing themselves when a lot of people like it and they act like this is a normal Tuesday for them.
that is the worst crowd ever. but Man Man is awesome.
Ungrateful crowd.
