Where I'm from, all the festivals happen at this race track for horses. When letlive. played last March, Jason Butler got off stage in the middle of a song and chased a horse.
that's hilarious
Never Say Never 🙌🏽 I was just telling someone that story today so I came looking for old clips. Funny coming across this comment.
I would hate to be part of their stage crew lolllll
And to think that he's literally the calmest, nicest guy in almost all of the interviews I've seen of him
Jason defines the meaning of live life to the fullest.
This guy would fit right in with Dillinger Escape Plan.
No amount of drugs can get you to the 'Crazy Jason' level. No amount.
Bath salts would like a word.
Fucking hell, the security doesn't know who to restrain, the fans or Jason xD what a fucking legend.
Love the bit when he tries like 3 times to pull the drum kit off stage, this is a guy who absolutely lives and breaths music.
I very rarely find a band that intrigues me the way these guys do, the way they write the instrumentation and vocal melodies combined with those powerful lyrics that get stuck in your head for weeks...
THIS is a modern day rock band. The singer gets a ton of attention, and he's a role model and hell of a rockstar. But we need WAY more bands like this. No holds barred, no bullshit. The people will follow. ll.
We're not going to be able to see any of this anymore. R.I.P. letlive. 2002-2017.
Now we have FEVER 333!
Yoo fever 333 rocks
letlive. was better tbh. Jason seems really passionate about fever but I just miss the emotional side if him in ll. In fever it's just a bunch of angry screaming and not nearly as melodic or heartfelt as the stuff in ll. Like I miss seeing them live and Jason would give a long heartfelt speech during Muther.
Mugen “in fever its just a bunch of angry screaming” you’re so stupid
It's going to happen.! Yesterday letlive. announced a farewell tour for 2025.!!!
And people wonder why there's a long list of past band members...wow
Carolina Aguirre actually, it's most from the fact that this band is over 15 years old now. Most people who join bands don't think about the long haul.
@@shawnhunter186 That and creative differences too.
I love how a lot of this is footage from Soundwave Adelaide.. best live show i have ever experienced.
wow, what a musician
i really enjoyed the lyrics
the dance moves were also quite scintillating
what a treasure this is
When I was at Graspop and at Jera on Air I've saw LETLIVE and daaamn that band! But I've got to say those stagehands are just amazing! Thumbs up for the stagehands!
dude im seeing them for the first time in october. Thanks to the uploader, this compilation is amazing.
It was such a shock meeting him for the first time, he's so chill and nice
Jason Butler-a man who greatly values the performance part of music performance.
Nah he's like the nicest guy ever haha. Seen them two days ago and he just hugged me without me even trying to hug him xD
Speechless, wish more bands would put on more of a show like them.
Exactly. They're not destroying their gear, just banging it up a bit. And they never destroy a venue, maybe just break it in a bit. Jason's an extremely humble dude, who shows how crazy he actually is on stage, and does it well.
Jason Butler is probably the most energetic front man I've ever seen. Jesus Christ the dude is all over the venue.
When he kicks that security guy at the beginning 😂😂😂
Lmfao OMG talk about stage adrenaline this guy is badass can't wait to see him come February
This dude jumped into a moshpit with me. With the mike. Still plugged in. Most distressed man ever holding the long ass cord over all the crowd.
Same. Just like a month ago. After the sjwow he was the calmest dude eher.
"God damn it, Jason." - Letlive's equipment tech.
Talk about going 100% at what you love! I might need to go to one of their shows..
THIS, THIS RIGHT HERE IS ENERGY.
This dude is crazy, yet at the same time freakin' awesome! 😂😃
I had never heard any of their music on an album until after I saw them live. It was the greatest show I've ever seen. There is so much energy. I hope I can be a front man one day and have even half the energy he has.
Did you do it? Are you front man?
@ lol no never was a front man
Jason Butler says he against anything that causes harm to other people yet has no problems with kicking a stage monitor that was just trying to do his job.
Ok, list of best live acts! Go!

Twenty One Pilots are also pre great live! 👍
adhd to the makes!!! i am loving it
i swear to god i dont know where this comes from, when i met him, he was all chill..but when he got on stage.... i love Jason so much.
wish i seen this a few years ago
could have cuashed this chit long before
Imagine being security for a LetLive gig...
"Hey man, rock festival coming up. Wanna do security?"
"Sure, who's on the bill?"
"Well, let's see, there's LetLive..."
"My fee just tripled."
This is why we fucking love jason \m/
He's one of the few vocalists around today that is so in touch with the message he's trying to convey. You could say his performances are really reckless and dickish or whatever, but to me and so many others it's a completely honest and real performance which to be honest you don't see a lot of people doing in metal, which to me is so choreographed these days. What he does on stage and in person are two completely different things. Also, he wasn't voted the greatest rock star in the world by Kerrang in 2012 which is how I discovered them.
Bon montage, thanks!
Jason Aalon Butler giving hell to stage crew since forever lmao
Not a huge fan of let live but god damn I respect what they do! Jason Butler is a BEAST!!!!!!
Saw them at warp tour one year. He broke a guitar cab and put it on his head. Also at the end of the set he ran through the crowd and did a flip into some bushes!
From what it looks like i really doubt this guy is on drugs, but you can tell he has a lot of pent up emotion from his music, and in general is highly energetic. I just heard of this band but i think im going to like them.
just saw him yesterday at Jera on Air Festival. His leg was injured. His show was the same like always.
if people are wondering how they still get shows after pretty much destroying expensive property, it's because of how popular they've become and they basically make venues enough money to buy twice the equipment they had before because why would anyone NOT pay to see them?
I wonder how many equipment managers they've went through since the band founded. Because I would've quit after 1 or 2 shows.
Last time I saw him he sung a whole song with the mic in a random mans shoe.
Jason Butler and Nathan Winneke (HORSE The Band) are the greatest vocalists to ever grace this earth.
in the extended version of the video, you can see him running on stage from near the crowd area - the security guard thought he was a crazy member of the crowd.
which I guess he pretty much is at half of the shows he plays, hahaha.
he's absolutely mental, i love him.
this is why I love letlive everyone.
My favorite is when he rams into the gate
I love this guys energy ! its hilarious!
he was INSANE at scranton warped tour. but still the best live show ever
Caught one of those drum sticks in the last clip. They totally went off, it was awesome.
Opening with footage from Adelaide Soundwave.
I was there. It was fucking raining and he still went nuts.
I feel bad for the first security guy who thought Jason was a fan :(
His techies are so under appreciated they have to deal with all this destruction of expensive equipment that they have to clean up/fix
Can not Wait To See Them October 24!
Saw them live in Stroudsburg PA with Rise Against and KSE. ll. STOLE THE FUCKING SHOW!
Announcer: Letlive will now be playing
Security: Ohh fuck, bring back up
why does crazy shit always happen during renegade 86 xD
the story with that is that he was in the crowd at the start of the show, so he came up and security didn't know he was part of the band so tried to take him off then realized he was the singer.
During warperd tour 13, after his set finished he started doing skateboard tricks in a mosh pit and jumped into a water slide
saw them in San Antonio that year, and he busted out on a skateboard at one point, and then jumped up on top of the portapotties and started running back and forth beating and jumping all over them. it was great.
Well hey, Every Time I Die is doing a headline tour bringing out The Chariot, letlive, and Kills and Thrills.
Dude's such a freak. You have to love it lol.
lmfao jason goes fucking nuts on renegade 86 EVERY SINGLE TIME its amazing
he is just living his rockstar life, im jealous
if jason is a sun, the world will definitely burning bcuz of his infinite energy
That was the MMI, PTV, Woe Is Me, The Amity Affliction and Letlive tour
he would make Darby Crash proud. "You guys, you're not having fun. Do damage!"
saw him live @ warped tour, long story short. he ended his jam session by running across a chain of 20-30 portapotties...
i love this guy
Jason Butler is my hero
Man he's so great.
This guy's a legend
his stage persona is very different from his his off-stage persona he's actually a sweetheart i got to meet him once
what happened near the start when the security guy tries to grab the mic of Jason? what was that about?
Thought he was a fan storming the stage I think lol
Inspiration.
the cleanup crew must love him
Legend.
BEAT IT... BEAT THAT SYMBOL LIKE IT'S MADE FUN OF YOU.... GET IT.. GET IT..!!!
The reason he kicks the security guard in the second clip is because he went to start the set entering from the crowd, but all of the guards thought we was a crazy fan and he had to fight them all off.
FUCKING INCREDIBLE! Now that is punk rock!!
i don't blame Jason for being angry on 0:14 he was being restrained a minute before that because the security was holding him from getting back on the stage when he came in from the crowd.they should at least know what the people in the band look like
Maybe i'm just getting old, but I draw the line at disrespecting venue equipment and staff. Everything else is fair game.
The Spoon yo if the venue staff was telling me to turn down I'd kick them too. Dropkick that is.
The Spoon he was actually being mistaken for somebody else when he got grabbed. if you watch his 7 of 30 interview with rock sound he addresses it
Agreed... You know how expensive those equipments cost???
Judging by current band's line-up, where Jason Butler is the only remaining member since 2002, not all the bandmates liked it ;)
For that show he had made his entrance from the crowd and the security either didn't know or forgot that was what he was going to do so they assumed he was just a crazy fan who ran up on stage
Can we update this video please?! :)
Jason Butler!
Theres a full video somewhere, he runs out from the crowd and jumps the barrier, loads of them try to stop him then because they think he's one of the crowd and then when he finally gets on stage that security guards tries to stop him as well, aha.
They did last year on Every Time I Die's tour. November/December 2012
this guy is just high on life
The way he kicks that guard though
That crazy guy with the beard.
That crazy guy with the beard.
Punker than hell, and nice dudes with great music-watch and learn from the masters
jason is the defintion of stage presence xD
*TDEP has entered the chat*... ;)
he goes nuts i fucking love it
He seems like one of the nicest guys ever off stage.. Maybe he reimburses and apologizes after? I can see that happening..
LOL At the end Jason is just like "Fuck all your instruments. They are not on my level."
All I can say is I do not envy the security who have to work when letlive. are playing haha.
That Project X shirt is awesome!
