You have as good as zero chance of detecting anything at night with that dive schedule. I run a schedule with more frequent dives, and synced with the radio operator, so that when he's on, the boat is both submerged and on the surface. Longer submerged stints to save fuel and increase range.
For me I manage my boat dive for 2-3 hrs surface so my diesel won't worn out fast I always spent battery to do the thing 5-6hrs dive..so I start the surface to 7am-9am so the captain can see thru morning using binoculars on the bridge because it's much better then observation or attack periscope for dive time for 2 hrs with 2 hrs break for morning shift then 3pm-5pm to surface again so the captain can see thru that time before it going dark
That's valid. I only made this schedule this way due to research I did on real tactics by Uboats in WW2. But at the end of the day this is a video game. The way you have it is great for min-max type of set up that fits your needs. Plus the yours is good for roleplay.. Like getting fresh air in the AM since the sub smells bad and is loud. Good evening, on the Crew management page and then under Boat Heading I have set my Dive Schedule to 8am to 18.00 however it's now 8.36 and ive still not gone to periscope depth. Any ideas where im going wrong. Thanks Michael
The depth station maybe isn’t manned, or there are sailors on the deck. I’m sure it’s not electric storage or any of that, so much be crew isn’t at the station they need to be at. That’s all I can think of.
@@Whitey233414 ah those are like skill points. I would say just assign to whichever slot you want. Depends how you want your crew. I have not seen most people dive into that. That could be a topic I could see in the future of hitting. Right now… I have no time. :(
