    The rear wheel will lift up, which will push through the frame into the front suspension, which will then push the rear wheel back into the ground. It is light enough that unless you hit a nasty bump going really fast it won't do any damage.

    I like how you show the troubles you had with getting the rear axle through. This is more like a real life build without cutting out all the problems. I also noticed you have a wishbone style frame (I too run a wishbone rigid :) )

    Hi,
    I like the look of a kicker but also like the convenience of the electric start. Call me greedy but I wanted them both and either of them will work. For a couple years Harley also produced bikes with both options.
    Thanks,
    Michael Durham

    just out of interest, how well does that rear brake work when the chain's all greased up?
    having a rear drive sprocket which also functions as a disk brake just seems to be asking for trouble.
    surely you can't be running on a dry chain?

    Um, when the battery is dead, I just get my bike rolling, jump on, put it in gear, let off the clutch and start it that way. If you got a slope/hill somewhere close, all the better. To hell with kick starting.

    sprocket/brake-disc combo looks like a bad idea. How do you keep your chain lubricated?

  • @Illogicalcaptain
    @Illogicalcaptain 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not sure I like the idea of a sprocket/rotor combo. Generally centrifugal force would theoretically keep any chain lube to the outside edge but if some did on the pads..no back brakes.

    How long will that sprocket/disc last? That seems like a horrible idea. I have never worn through a set of brakes at the same rate as a sprocket.

  • @mddaredevil

    why there is no rear suspension?like the ural's have?

    Bobber & Chopper, seems to me that in the old days they were 2 different styles. Noticed lately people seem to call them both names like they don't know the difference

    • @jymebale5545
      @jymebale5545 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, a Bobber is one style that is very different from a Chopper, drastically different really. Do correct those who do not know. They need to be educated.
