Guru ASMR is back! Here's the third part in what surprisingly ended up being some of the most popular videos I've made. I've been watching ASMR since 2013, and I'm so glad I've been able to contribute to this community that has been my remedy for many sleepless nights. I really notice how there's a pattern of really pure and raw asmr sounds in older movies....i'm not sure whether that might be due to lower audio filtering or something, but I really miss it in movies these days. It adds so much reality and experience to the scene.

i think they might used real items instead of mock-ups(that are made to not interrupt the sound of an actor speaking), like real glasses ect

I'm so glad you included Howl's Moving Castle! That movie is full of great ASMR, like Sophie walking the streets, or when she visits Madame Sullivan. Christian Bale does a great job voicing Howl.

Holy crap, the transition from Stoker to A little Princess is amazing. The girl in ALP starts off by saying "India", and then I remembered that India was the name of the protagonist in Stoker. I thought that was really cool.

That transition from Matilda and into The Princess Bride was the epitome of calm childhood memories.. with a laugh snuck in there. The muting was too good.
Finally someone included A Little Princess! I love Sarah’s voice, ever since I was a little girl. I used to watch this movie with my dad when I was a little girl. He was a military man so that movie always hit different and I’ve just always loved how soft her voice is.
The transitions between the clips were *masterful* .

Its mostly your thumb that does the work though
The way he was doing it was he was pulling back on the sides with his fingers with the stick putting pressure on the middle
You, like, crack it on a hard surface, and then push up the top with your thumb while holding it with your middle finger. Once the yolk falls out, just discard it like normal

everyone talks about how beautifully animated howl’s moving castle is (and I don’t disagree at all!!) but no one seems to talk about how amazing the sound mixing really is! they seem like such tiny details but the way that every little thing in each and every scene is accounted for in the audio is one of the things that really ties the movie together and makes it such an immersive experience!
