One day, hopefully. I remember having to tap over 30 tokens to cast March of multitudes. It was a pain and the time was running out .
I haven't played magic in years, but, "Ooo, I'm gonna be playing your deck next turn" is the bluest comment outside of "No".
CGB, I just want to say I absolutely love your content and unique decks and explanation of them. You also deserve huge credit for graphics, editing and production. Also, your intro music is super addictive much akin to the Stranger Things intro music. You also make me laugh quite a bit. All in all 10/10 great stuff.
I'd give him a solid 5/7. Perfect score.
I think the standard scene will be interesting to say the least until rotation occurs; the point being is the three categories of decks being played in abundance right now. One, the decks that have shaped the meta the last year or so even up to more recently with the mythic championships and other events. Two, the decks that have spawned because of brewing or net decking with the release of core 2020. Thirdly and lastly, we have the decks which were on the fringes of being competitive yet with the release of core 2020 they've improved dramatically.
This deck is very efficient of creating threats to your opponent must respond to, the other aspect and clear strength of the deck is the manner in which it ramps- it creates problems for many previous standard dominate decks because it appears to out tempo most decks. It will be interesting to see how it performs and how it evolves moving forward. Thanks for another great video and showcasing a deck looks fun to play and is competitive.

I really appreciate hearing your thoughts on the deckbuilding and during play. I'd prefer you'd turn down/off the background music. Not sure how others feel about this but it distracts/bothers me.
This is the exact same deck I played Cheeks with on his stream the other day. I do run 2 finale of devastation for an easy game ender. I hope I inspired this.
I threw Leyline into my Simic Ascendancy deck, worked fantastically.
man... I used to be proud of being free to play only and doing the best with what I have, but every deck you show off I want to play and the temptation to spend money is crazy! I run a mono-green Nissa-centric deck similar to this, have found nissa + evolution sage is crazy. If you can get Nissa to Ult opponent scoops before you can click all the forests :D

I've just decided to build a simic manipulation deck two days ago. And then you come up with this deck. Turn 4? That man mustve been completely blown away just like me!

My best play with a similar deck was 2 leylines and a llanowar to get turn 2 nissa, then a turn 3 planewide celebration to get her to 9 loyalty and -8, that was a bit broken
I dont like krasis as a go big creature, maybe ill try the deck with 2 krasis and 2 hydras.
Krasis is too good against Simic Flash to me to run less than 4, though there's been a bit less flash this week than last week
Krasis is literally THE go to big creature to run. It's so good because even if it gets removed or even if it gets countered you still draw a new set of hand. There is absolutely no reason not to run it over anything else to be honest.
I love this deck. My best openingg hand was like one ley line, 4 llanowar elves, breeding pool and a hydroid crasis. This was not even fair xD
you know it's funny, i was just having a conversation with one of the mods in the mtg;a discord and he vehemently opposed any opinion other than that leylines were worthless.

@@covertgoblue What scares me is that the 2 main arguments against them I see are, "but you lose on card advantage!" and, "it's a useless card in your deck if it's not relevant!"
Made something more less like this, but put 2 Finale of Revelation in there too (instead of 4 Cavalier, only 2). It's working quite well too.

game 2 mulligan opinion: you should have mulled.
I have not seen it played out, but needing a land draw of 2 cards to work is bad AND you play a layline AND london mulligan is in effect now

Why not add in one Finale of Devastation so your mana-dorks can become absolutely monstrous and rush in for a surprise kill?

This deck is fun af to play any replacement for hydroid Kraxis lmao I pretty much have everything else in real life
Finale of Devastation can use Cavalier as a target, also enabling your dorks to move in for a kill.
I tried this deck out and got the best possible opener and got a turn 4 46/47 with trample...
For those of who are wondering, my opening hand was - 2 leylines, 2 leafkin Druid, 2 forest and a llanowar elf. Then on the draw I got another elf, a Nissa, a forest, and a voracious hydra. Literally the perfect scenario went down (I was on the draw)
game 2 was 100% a mulligan. that hand had 1 playable. there is no situation where you're wanting to play a krasis for x=1
'cept against monored when you're low on life and they have a dork and are empty-handed, LUL
@@Slithy Even then you still don't want to play a krasis for 1. you lose out on card draw and life gain by not having the 4th mana out, and if you need to play a krasis for 1 to not lose, you have bigger problems.

So I’m at 4 minutes hearing him talk about conclave tribunal and just thinking to myself this is exactly why anyone decent uses ixtalan’s binding
Keep in mind that mono white doesn't run that many lands, which means Ixalans binding is hard for them to cast whereas tribunal is extremely easy with convoke.
All I need is leylines and I can play this. Super cool deck!

Vince Cronk yeah everytimes I see other youtuber post a nice decklist video he suddently post a similar video 2/3 days afterwards with just a few cards change so it does not look the same..... are you in lacking idea covert or what....
Similar ideas and confirmation bias are normal. I give credit to a source when I net deck, but it isn’t rocket science to play mana creatures and a leyline that helps mana creatures lol. I was surprised when mogwai and I both posted Golos black, that was pretty off meta and about a day apart, but we have similar taste so it still isn’t a sign one of us is a copycat
