    Bought the 75 inch QN90a yesterday. Can't wait for it. Going to get in feb. The 75 inch was sold out. Coming from an Oled fan to this is quite different. But it's safe and no risk of gray scaling or Burn ins. I have a permanent grayscale on my Sony oled tv. And it sucks big time. I game alot, my twin daughters use the TV as well almost every day for music and watching dance videos. Wifey has it as well. The TV is literally on 24/7. So I had to buy a none oled TV this time. And I'm actually happy about it. No more inner stress because of damn TV haha. Plus its a great GAMING tv. My PS5 is going like it indeed 👌👑

    I've had this TV for over 6 months now and I haven't charged the remote since I opened the box (I charged it to 100% with USB-C when I first unpacked it before using). I checked the battery percentage the other day and it was around 65%, so I'm being a bit more conscientious of leaving it upside down for a bit. I'm really impressed by this remote. It controls almost everything practically seamlessly. Also every other device's remote controls the TV just as well. Good stuff. And that's just the remote lol it's actually a REALLY nice TV and I love how it handles my PS5.

Fact is I can't stand horrible bloomington just to get a brighter picture and people make it seem like oled is 100 nits from what I've seen it's not insanely dark it is dimmer then qled but not bothersome.. brighter doesn't mean better especially with blooming that comes with a qled

      @@DETERMINOLOGY I constantly have Samsung TV last 10years and this blooming i never noticed playing games.... but to watch constantly ABL OLED during gameplay this is something what i can't understand... that means picture quality are not the same and brightness level always going up and down..... first thing i do on Samsung is turning off all energy saving and full power strength brightness HDR....

    • @DETERMINOLOGY
      @DETERMINOLOGY 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trumpameri1638 There's always that group of people that thinks brighter is better and can't see blooming. I mean if you sit a LG CX next to a Q90A blooming will show its self theres no way the dimming zone count can match to any OLED being at 8,294,400 so blooming is there everything looks milky and faded. And if the Q90A was that hot everyone would be buying it over the CX and OLED but that's truly not the case. Yes the OLED is dimmer but the contrast on the OLED can not be beat by any QLED and the peak brightness of a OLED is bright enough. I mean the CX has up to 750 nits and still selling..
      On a QLED the HDR pops but it feels flat at the same time the contrast isn't nothing to brag about and the blooming kills it for me. As to a OLED someone could say it's dim (not to me) but it could be bothersome. If a tv had OLEDs contrast with samsungs peak brightness it would be golden but 750+ nits or so + infinite contrast is nothing to sneeze at as ive seen many of games on a OLED and QLED i like the OLED better but i can see why people like QLED

    Nice review! Quantum tv trashes this tv. How bad is the blooming? I am looking to upgrade from a 5 yo Samsung UN6 series 4k led. I'm guessing it won't bother me. I'm leaning to QLED as we have a bright living room. I can control the darkness but we tend to keep the area pretty bright. I'm also considering the A80J and I will game on my PS5 at times. Thank you

    • @mechanicalmonkey7777

      Absolutely, the 70a is only edge lit not even full array local dimming . That’s means it only had leds on each side of the screen not throughout the whole screen, stay away

      @@bobbymiller5297 I got the c1 to but the 48” for bedroom I’m in the process of sending it bacm for the 55” but it sucks because I got the 48 for 1020$ brand new with 4 year warranty that claims burn in coverage .. the 55 will cost like 350$ more right now unless I wait until Super Bowl to see the deal.. but the 55 was 1299 and came with same 4 year warranty not it’s like 1400 but still 4 year CPS full accidental warranty(no idea how good that warranty is though) i watch a lot of 4K upscaled tv with my internet providers cable box get all the channels and HBO/stars/showtime and also HBO max included free as I already pay for HBO so HBO gives it and I think showtime plus to .. anyways I usually had my led tv running all the time so I was going back and fortt to h maybe I should buy the Samsung Qn90a 55 instead and not worry about burn In, but that’s hard with no Dolby vision although my normal 4K cable box dosent support at hdr for at unless I use apps but the damn Samsung’s have dirty screen effect a lot of the time so that’s a negative to and cost just as much as oled or more although I did find 1 left on stock 55 Qn90a for 1299 that will be gone any time now .. I could always lower my TV watching time or take the burn in risk and see how good the warranty is lol.. I donno what to .. I love the sound on these c1 the I build speakers sound amazing especially with ai sound pro on and the oled looks 3D but you have to have the right content 85% of tv dosent do it justice so it’s a huge toss up.. seems like Dolby vision is more impactful then hdr 10 on the oled ? What’s your thoughts on this situation

    • @bobbymiller5297
      @bobbymiller5297 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mechanicalmonkey7777 well in your situation I just looked in the lgc1 55" is 1,499$ right now. It's NOT on sale. It could go on sale for super bowl.. so you could return the 48" now and wait and see if it goes on sale and if it doesn't just buy it anyways.
      I personally like the image of the lgc1. And the 4 - 2.1 hdmi ports on lgc1 that Samsung don't have. I think the image is worth the extra money for C1.
      I got the 65" C1. So to me your 48" seems small. If your wanting 55" I wouldn't keep the 48" cuz that tv is too expensive to not be happy with . Your going to have it for years.
      But as far as the Samsumg q90 or LGC1. The burn in worried me a bit but everyone i talk to tells me not to worry..I went in my settings and set static image to "low" and I run the pixel refresher when the TV is off all time to help prevent burn in. This is my first oled so I'm going to just risk the burn in. I think for video games and pc use is what causes burn in. I don't think TV watching causes much burn in anyways. But just use the pixel refresher and set static image to low and probably be fine. The lgc1 is supposed to be less likely to burn in..
      But if your in a really bright room. I would lean toward Samsung Q90. Or if your room is dark then get the LGC1. Because the C1 gets glare in screen from bright lights. But the lgc1 looks so good in darker rooms and is easier on your eyes at night or dark

    • @mechanicalmonkey7777
      @mechanicalmonkey7777 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bobbymiller5297 hey nooo the static image luminance must be set to high! Not low.. high means the tv will make them translucent to the tv and will actively not enable pixels to be bright where logos are detected .. many people think low is the correct but lg says high is correct setting., think of it like local dimming it’s more aggressive on high then low rigtht? So you want that on high brother .. yeah I need the 55 at least.. I saw open box 55 for 1099$ from a huge retailer and also a 65 for like 1550 open box .. it’s for a bedroom but 65 would prob be better lol but non open box is like 1899ish right now plus tax.. that’s like 800$ more then the 48 yikes.. the 65” x95j is like 1650$ I found brand new and the 65 qn85a is 1450 new.. Ahhh I donno.. but hey I just found a cool feature if you want to listen to music or go to bed with tv on for sound noise you can leave sound on but turn the screen off or if your stepping out the room for a few minutes as I don’t think the screen saver kicks on on hdmi source.. using the remote voice if set up say “turn off screen” or go into settings find oled care-device care-energy saving-then you’ll see screen off

      I think they couldn't get the rights for it. It's definitely strange when my $300 vizo TV has Dolby vision, but not this over $1k Samsung one. It's not really a big deal considering DV is just a "branded" format of HDR10+.

I bought a c1 48 and returning for larger tv and burn in sucks so debating on the 55 qn90a but those 2 things really bother me when the c1 55” is cheaper and built from metal and glass and has every feature that exists

    When switched to game mode, do you lose any quality in gaming (image,stutter,color)
    ? That bugged me about most tvs I tested out last year or so.

    • @richmondshelby2467
      @richmondshelby2467 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Only if your console/PC does it
      I had a very minor issue of screen splitting while playing Nfs payback on a Ps4 pro on the Qn90a but that was purely my console acting up
      Jitters are VERY common in old racing games and i have it with MotoGp18 all the time
      But otherwise the TV is absolutely great.
      One advice i will give is that don't go looking for problems that you can't see because you will definitely find them and will be left disappointed
      You will see blooming in game mode because dimming is turned off to reduce input lag but that was never an issue for me.
      Even in movies only if you are watching a dark scene in VERY dark room with subtitles on,will you see a teeny tiny bit of blooming but as soon as you turn the light on, you won't see the blooming.
      Watch Linus Tech Tips video where he checks out Mini Led TV that is the Samsung against the LG C1
      They perform almost the same.
      Sorry for the lengthy advice but i hope it covers most of your doubts
